He was looking right at an Audino, tapping at the transparent plastic to see if he was awake.

"...dino? Aud... Aud?" She said, before fiddling with some buttons and knobs on the side.

Austin would suddenly feel the incubator get warmer, and a large amount of his body started to tingle. He noticed much of the hair on his body to fall off, though his hair was somehow untouched. He could feel all of this acutely, as it felt like his skin got just a bit thinner, and began working overtime. It was the softest he'd ever felt it, for sure. What he didn't know was a side-effect of this process would be an accute, random pain in the gum area, similar to teething.

"Can you hear me yet, or am I gonna have to blast this thing again?" Audino asked, "Tap the glass twice if you can hear me."

Charlie wasn't the biggest fan of his current situation. His long, dirty-blonde hair hadn't been done in ages, his hazel eyes were trying to make anything out in the way-too-bright ambulance, and he couldn't feel his lower half. Last he remembered, an electabuzz officer for the new pokemon regime was chasing after him to "help him", but he knew better. Trainers were treated like babies, that's what he always saw, and that definitely wasn't what he wanted. So of course, he ran away, and the electabuzz bounded after him right into a puddle, causing both of them to fall over, and for his lower half to be shocked! They treated the lasting damage in the ambulance, but they said something about lasting damage, long-term paralysis of his lower body. It'd take a lot of time for him to recover, that was for sure. As the ambulance arrived at its destination, he felt his gurney being picked up, and the sudden motion caused his now paralyzed lower half to start... leaking. He wet the only pair of jeans that he'd been wearing for months, even further soaking his already wet clothes. That wouldn't even hide it either, due to the strong stench of urine.

"Noooo..."

Congratulations, you passed with flying colors!.. And I wouldn't try moving around in there if I were you, nothing's slipperier than baby skin against oiled-up plastic."

You loved your pokemon sincerely, and so did most trainers. We're doing the same, just taking a more humane approach. Nothing is loved and cared for more than a baby... especially the baby of the richest baby-supply mogul in Galar."
