Isabelle skips down the path to the town hall. Normally she'd just be walking, but with the nature of the meeting she was having with mayor Tom Nook, she could barely contain her excitement. Naturally she waves to to everyone she passes by, and while most if not all of them return her gesture, many seem a bit confused. Of course as far as they're concerned she's just going to go help her boss the mayor meet with a new arrival and help them get settled with a job and house. Something she does all the time. However Isabelle knows that this particular "job" will be a bit different than what anyone else in the village has done before.

As Isabelle reaches city hall, Tom Nook is pacing a bit in his office, a sealed box on his desk. He also seems a bit excited, but also nervous and perhaps a touch confused. After all, on one hand this was his idea and he also thinks it's a great opportunity, but on the other hand it involves a lot of factors and aspects that he personally isn't familiar with. As these thoughts are going through his head, the door swings open and Isabelle rushes in.

"Hello Mr. Mayor," She says, her eyes immediately going to the box as she gives out an excited squeal. "Are they here yet?"

"Morning Isabelle," Tom smiles at his secretary, her immense excitement proving very infections and calming to him. "No but they should be here any minute." He replies and both of them look out the window to watch.

Ryan casually strolls down the island's paths, a bit of a pep in his step as he approached the town hall that he'd help build. Today is the day his debt was finally erased, a momentous occasion to be sure! He had full confidence in himself, as he opens the doors and sits down in front of the city hall desk, ready to get started.

"I already signed the forms on my nookphone," Ryan says, "So I'm a little bit confused why you brought me here, but, I'm open to talking about whatever other terms I skimmed over."

Which is to say, most of the contract.

Tom Nook and Isabelle smile at the young new arrival, though upon hearing his question, Tom raises an eyebrow, clearly realizing that he has no idea what he's actually signed up for.

"Well my boy," Tom starts, clearing his throat, at which point Isabelle springs up and dashes over to a side door, coming back with a large paper bag. "I'm sure you at least realized that you will be serving as a...model of sorts for a brand new product that we'll be selling. Essentially, your debt will be chipped away with each successful sale. Also you will be living with Miss Isabelle and myself until the contract is completed." Isabelle squeals again at this as she clutches the bag even tighter. It's getting closer and closer to the moment the yellow dog has been waiting for.

"O-Okayyyy?" Ryan says, eyeing both of them oddly, "Not sure what exactly that's all about, but, do you think you could explain it a bit more? You're being awfully vague."

Ryan sinks back into his chair, as if trying to assume a defensive position. As far as he's concerned, nothing Nook could do would be good per se, but he doesn't know exactly what he's in for.

"Well perhaps it will make more sense when you see the product," Tom says giving Isabelle a nod, the raccoons normally stoic all business demeanor finally betraying a small smile.

Isabelle for her part, squeals again and walks right up to Ryan, reaching into the bag and pulling out a cardboard box. Said box is covered in kid friendly designs and has a picture of a smiling mouse and rabbit on the front, each wearing nothing but diapers. At first glance, it seems to be a normal box of disposable diapers, except for the fact that the size of the box and the appearance of the two animals on the front make it clear that these aren't meant for babies. In fact, they seem to be the perfect size for someone like Ryan...

"Wait, you want me to be a product representative for..." Ryan says with a pause, "Adult diapers?"

Ryan of course isn't aware the product line for Nook's Fannies: Adult Baby Supplies is far more expansive, and that he'd have to run through all of it, nor how long he's going to be made to rep for it. He also is unable to factor in whether or not this is for entirely business reasons.

"Well yes, but it is not quite that simple," Nook replies, a smug smile on his face, while Isabelle is smiling from ear to ear at the young man. "As of now you are officially the new mascot for Nook Fannies brand Adult/Teen baby products. You will not only be demonstrating our entire line, but will be expected to fully engage in the associated lifestyle."

"And best of all," Isabelle finally breaks her silence, her voice trembling with excitement as she leans in even closer. "Now me and Tom are your mommy and daddy!" She squeals, but Tom, his expression briefly shifting, clears his throat. Isabelle rolls her eyes, her excitement somewhat dampened. "Or rather, Mr. Nook and I are now your legal guardians until your contract is fulfilled." She speaks out in a bored monotone, which is swiftly replaced with her smile as she sets down the diaper box and starts pulling even more supplies from her bag.

"Also before you ask, yes this was all covered in the contract which you signed and are now legally obligated to fulfill," Tom speaks up having regained his full composure. "Now if there are no other questions I believe Miss Isabelle is ready to get you properly dressed." He has to stifle a bit of a chuckle on that part.

"Actually, I do have a question," Ryan says as he stands up, "What if I decide I don't wanna? This place doesn't really have cops to make me do what you want, and I'm less than enthusiastic about being the mascot of some sick fetish brand."

Ryan starts to lose his temper, but tries to keep himself composed and under control as he turns around to leave town hall. He expects to get out of the door and maybe only be forced to do one photoshoot, clearly not knowing how far the contract's reach is.

Isabelle immediately frowns at his response, and in a sudden burst of movement she gets between him and the door, her arms crossed.

"Well I suppose you could do that," Tom Nook replies, raising an eyebrow. "Of course then you would be in breach of contract which would entitle us to repossess your home and all your belongings, as per the contract those were all put up as collateral. Second, that would still leave you in debt, and I can tell you with some confidence that finding a employment when you are both in debt and known for breaking contracts will be quite difficult. Rest assured, my boy, while we do not have an explicit law enforcement agency, we are quite capable of exerting our rules and regulations here."

"Mr. Nook is right," Isabelle says, her tone now stern. "Now you can either do this the fun nice way, or the unpleasant way."

"Riiiiight, so this is really a choiceless choice!?" Ryan groans, "Look... I don't know what to do here, but if I have to do this, I guarantee you I'm not going to do it of my own volition. I'm going to let you two do whatever to me, and I'm going to be dead weight. Understand?"

He sits back down and crosses his arms, closing his eyes and pouting. He's clearly huffy.
