Tips for telling ur Parents

Ive had alot of people ask me how they should tell their parents that they are ab/dl and want to wear diapers, so i decided to make a thread discussing it.

First of all, only tell them if your really sure that its something you want to do.

People with other siblings like Brothers or Sisters might not really want them to know, so you should pull your parents aside, somewhere private and somewhere your brother or sister wont be able to hear.

If you think it will make you more confident, then just tell them straight forward...if not...start talking to them about other things and slowly lead into it, thats what i did and i think it helped trmendously.

Talk to them about it for awhile and wait for them to comment back to you. Most parents can be very understanding and want their kids to be happy, so they should understand.

If they accept that you are ab/dl but dont want to buy the diapers...offer to buy them with your own money...this usually works and ive heard it helped alot of people.

If you dont want to tell your brother or sister if you have them...then you should ask your parents to do it...if not...how do you think it would look when your ina diaper and they have no clue...?

Those are some helpful tips from my experience and some stories that i have heard...if i hear anything new ill be sure to add it to this thread...

Also please feel free to post any ways that you have or have thought about telling your parents. Please no off topic discussions in this thread and try to keep the posting to a minimum unless yur posts are discussing ways to tell parents.

See, this is one thing I never fully understood...the whole "tell-your-parents" thing. Honestly, if its a lifestyle thing, then ok, maybe. But if diapers are a sexual turn-on for you, I really think that's something best left from your parents' minds.

Yeah, I would agree with Loli. It would feel creepy to me, I don't tell my parents "I like to be bit on the neck by vampiric rock stars." and I do.

They don't need to know everything about my life and I'd really prefer to leave them in the dark on my sexual interests.

I wouldn't tell your parents right away. If you really want to clue them in on it, be subtle about it. Don't tell them it's a sexual. Just tell them you enjoy wearing them and you don't intend to use them nor go out in public with them. If they still don't understand, tell them you do it because it makes you feel cute and you like to roleplay.

Just try to eliminate anything suggestive your parents might think. I learned that the hard way.

This is very nice advice. I just went and told them, my mom at least, but it was very, very, difficult.

ya...telling ur parents can be difficult and nerveracking...but after you do it feels great or it sometimes does...did for me...hehe
