Bayonetta has heard tale of an individual that can change the fabric of all realities, she seeks to train them as an apprentice in the umbra witches, and help her save everyone in the process. She awaits the orders from her boss as she is sent to the middle of nowhere to find them, or stop them if they are evil.

Sonje Tietzen did not look like the sort of person you'd imagine when someone said "magic", or "witch", but perhaps a rule of magic is that it tended to surprise the average person.

Sonje was a girl of about 18, 5'7" with deep, shiny black hair and cobalt-blue eyes. She was slim and not particularly curvy, but what curves she did have were covered up by the modest blue and white dress she wore. The thing that really stood out about Sonje was her hair; it seemed to be a simple braid, but its length was truly phenomenal; from the back of her head, Sonje's braid wound around her neck and shoulders three times like a scarf before trailing over one shoulder all the way down to drag a little on the ground behind her as she walked. The braid was probably six feet long by itself, and the mind boggled at what Sonje would look like if she let her hair down.

At the moment, this girl was sitting on a rock in the middle of nowhere, sketching the horizon. She was waiting...for what, she still wasn't exactly sure.

Bayonetta dressed completely in black as usual searches for the one who has more latent powers than Bayonetta has active power. Bayonetta has been outifitted with a new wrist device that looks like a futuristic watch, when in reality it can track magical, supernatural, or hidden sources of power which she follows towards the unknown individual.

Sonje finished her sketch, sighing as she put away her pencil.

"Beautiful skyline here..." She murmured, but blinked as she felt an odd little jolt. Looking around, she saw something black in the distance, and getting closer.

Bayonetta also feels a jolt as she approaches the source of the power. She is shocked to see it is a teenage girl unless her eyes deceiving her, she walks with her hands extanded, and tells the girl "my name is Bayonetta, I was sent here to train you to become my apprentice."

"Bayonetta...? I've heard of you..." Sonje said, standing up in surprise. She stepped back a little.

"T-There must be some mistake, though. I'm just an ordinary girl! I can't do the kind of things you can..." She said honestly.

"Your latent abilities far exceeds my maximum powers, if I can train you, then you will at least match my abilities, and you have my hair ability as my hair can be way longer which is used as a conduit to summon different beings."

[Saturn_Ringer]

"..." Sonje considered her options.

One, she could try to run away...but to where? Why? Bayonetta could find her no problem.

She could try this, in which case she'd either disappoint Bayonetta or it'd turn out she was right...what did she have to lose?

Sonje nodded slowly.

"A-All right. I'll be your apprentice." She said, offering Bayonetta her hand.

Bayonetta pulls a pair of purple gloves out of her bag to place on Sonje's hands immediately. She slowly pulls the fingerless gloves over Sonje's hands, then she explains, "These gloves are more than a fashion statement, they can cloak you from those who wish to use your powers for evil purposes, and for now I will transport you back via my private jet."

"A-All right. Lead the way, Miss Bayonetta." Sonje said.

Who knew she'd been so important...? Things could change a lot in one day.
