It was a brand new year at this great high school, at least for Senior student Axel Rhodes, who was waiting in his dorm for his two new roommates. Sora Lionheart, and Roxas Strife.

He was waiting for their stuff to arrive mostly, but there was something about those two last names that reminded him of something, for some reason or another. He knew the two were cousins, but the name Strife filled him with dread for some reason.

Roxas Strife was walking down the hall of his dormitory trying to find his room. He was going into his freshmen year and was naturally a little nervous about going into high school. He believed many of the stories he was told about high school. He was however glad that he would be rooming with his cousin Sora Lionheart.

He also noticed that he would be rooming with Axel Rhodes. The name rang a bell but Roxas couldn't put his finger on it. He sighed as he found room 732 and took a deep breath. He slowly opened the door to see the red-haired boy sitting on his bed. He waved nervously and smiled as he chose a bed on the right side of the rather large room.

"You must be... Roxas... I think" Axel said, talking to the blondeling. He smiled before thinking and said "You really remind me of someone... hmm... Strife... Cloud Strife?" Axel commented, trying to figure out, but when he said Cloud, he looked like he was filled with dread. "Ah... now I remember, you and I used to hang out when we were kids... I remember your father getting really mad at me one time, and one time beating up my dad Reno..." Axel commented with a bit of a grimace.

It wasn't soon until a spiky brunette came into the room, with an excitely happy expression on his face clear. "Cousin!" the boy, who was called Sora, said with excitement when he saw Roxas. "And you must be... Sora..." Axel stated. "Hey Axel... long time no see" Sora said, evidently Sora remembered Axel.

Roxas nodded remembering now how he knew Axel. He also did remember that big fight with Reno. He smiles and said, "Ah now I remember. We use to hang out a lot."

Roxas saw his cousin come in and smiled. He smiled and said, "Sora how have you been?" He saw how exited Sora seemed. He wasn't suprised seeing how energetic that boy was.

"I guess we did" Axel said. "I've been good~" Sora said cheerfully, jumping onto the remaining bed after shutting the door. All they had to do now is wait for their stuff to arrive. Axel already had his stuff, and Sora looked excited, waiting impatiently for his stuff to get here.

Roxas was sitting on his bed quietly wondering what it was going to be like here. Being in high school was a big change. He felt small compared to Axel and some of the other Seniors he had seen. He was a little worried about what would happen but he kept a straight face.

He looked at the clock and saw that it was five o' clock. He knew that they had Freshmen orientation at six thirty which would give him and Sora more than enough time to get ready.

Their stuff soon arrived outside their door. "Our stuffs here!" Sora said in a singsong voice, as he rushed to the door and opened it and saw his and Roxas' large suitcases with their stuff. "You seem a bit too eager to start High School, Sora" Axel commented, as Sora lugged their suitcases inside. "It's just so... interesting" Sora said.

Roxas grabbed his large suitcase and pulled it into the room. He stowed the suitcase under his bed. He looked at Axel and said, "Do you know where the orientation will be?" He wanted to make sure he knew where he and Sora would be going so they wouldn't be late. That and their schedules were being handed out so he wanted to know all of his classes.

"In the Assembly Hall, I believe" Axel said, thinking about it. "That's where it was last year, and the year before and when I started here..." Axel said. Sora smiled, and laid down on his bed, looking at Roxas, wondering if he was still afraid of having his secret found out.

Roxas nodded and said, "Thanks. Sora we should probably leave in an hour or so seeing as it we're suppose to be there at 6:30." Roxas laid down as well but was positioned strangely as if h was trying to cover the suitcase with his arm. He was being very protective of the suitcase. He looked at Sora and saw his cousin wink. He blushed a little and nodded as he laid his head softly on the pillow.
