Alister was rushing through the pathways in the Petalburg Woods, trying to get away from his pursuers, who were grunts of Team Aqua, one of the Villianous Teams in Hoenn. The reason they were after him? Well, if you were sensitive to Aura and had the ability to communicate telepathically... you'd be chased by people who were under the impression that you could command powerful Legendary Pokemon with the power of their minds. He wasn't looking where he was going when he tripped and fell straight into Ramon Nite, not knowing who he was, Alister almost freaked.

"Hey, watch where you're going!" said Ramon as he caught the scared young teen before they could both fall to the ground. "Where in the world would you have to be in such a rush that you need to run into people?" he said with a confused look on his face, still holding this shaking boy's shoulders.

"There he is! Get him!" gruff male voices shouted, as two males in sailor-themed uniforms appeared. "Gah!" Alister exclaimed, releasing a blast of blue energy from his hands towards the grunts, as a knee-jerk reaction. What... the... fuck?! Was this kid a Pokemon or a Human?! One of the grunts was hit by the beam and was knocked down. "Uh... a little help here, Aibne..." Alister begged, as a Pichu appeared out of its Pokeball and took a stance. "Uh... I know this is out of the blue... but could you... maybe... help... me?" Alister stuttered, kind of afraid what the grunts were going to do to him if they caught him.

Ramon was the one freaking out now. "WHO, WHAT...wait, nevermind! I don't know what you've gotten yourself into, but I can't help you!" He looks around at the situation with fear and awe, and doesn't know how to react. He just saw a boy fire freaking lasers from his hands, and towards these strange people in some kind of sailor suits. Wait, were these the people he'd heard about on the news the other day? Some kind of new Team, like Team Rocket but...Team...Team Ocean? They sound stupid, but not as stupid as that Team Galactica or whatever over in Sinnoh. "Alright look, I can see you're in a tight spot. I'd like to help, but if you don't want me to physically go beat their faces in with my fists, then I literally CAN'T assist you in any way."

"You mean you don't have any Pokemon?! Take my Jolteon..." Alister said, handing Ramon a Pokeball. One of the grunts threw a small canister at them, filled with sleeping gas. "Shit!" Alister screamed, as he erected a barrier around them which the grenade bounced off. "God damnit... sometimes I hate being born sensitive to Aura..." Alister groaned. "You're both coming with us boy... you especially, Aura-boy..." the grunt said, quite pissed off. "I'm not helping you control Kyogre with my powers!" Alister said.

And now here's Ramon thinking, "Wow, I think I totally get the jist of what's going on now!" He's also thinking, "Oh my God I'd better stop thinking and help this guy!" Ramon takes the pokeball from the boy's hands, and skillfully throws it near the already spawned Pichu. "Act now, ask questions later!" he says in an excited voice. He's always wanted to participate in a Pokemon battle, as he's seen SO many shows and read SO many books on everything you would need to know about having an adventure. What the books DIDN'T go over, was meeting young boys that could fire lasers from their hands. The pokeball he threw opened, and the Jolteon inside flew out in a ball of light, with added light from it's electricity, and landed near the Pichu. The two pokemon nodded to each other, obviously recognizing the other, and agreeing on a battle plan. "You ready, Kid?" Ramon asked the still-shaken boy. "I'll let you start things off!"

"Aibne! Thundershock!" Alister called. "Piiiii-CHUUUUUUUU!" the Pichu squealed as it discharged yellow electricity from its body at that the grunts, who were calling out Poochyenas to defend themselves. The barrier disappeared to let the lightning bolt attack the Poochyenas. "Fucking Brat! Poochyena! Tackle!" one of the grunts swore, as the Poochyenas began to try and tackle the Jolteon and Pichu.

"J...Jolteon? I don't know your name, but Jolteon, use your own Thundershock on the attacking Poochyena!" the Jolteon looked back at it's trainer, then proceeded to make a slight "EEON" sound as it hurled it's own wave of electricity through the barrier, and at the approaching pokemon. The Poochyena stopped in it's tracks, face down to the ground and gritting it's teeth as it took the direct hit of the attack. When it finally ended, the Pooch shook its head really fast to shake it off. It then tried to walk towards the two teens again, but stopped and went into the same position as when he was shocked. Little sparks flew out of his back and legs, indicating a paralysis.

"Hidden Power, Aibne!" Alister commanded gently, as his Pichu released a blast of electrical energy towards the Poochyena that knocked it backwards, and caused them to faint. "God fucking damn it!" The grunts cursed, as they called back their Poochyena and fled. Alister was panting, mostly from exhaustion, as he fell on his buttocks from exhaustion, and there was a loud audible crinkle. Alister blushed furiously when he heard it.

Ramon payed no attention to anything that was going on with the strange boy, as he was still hyped up from the battle. He stared at the running Grunts, then at the Jolteon, who looked back at him. Suddenly, Ramon burst out with a loud "YEAA" as he ran top speed towards the Jolteon and proceeded to hug it. "Wow, that was amazing! You are so strong and talented and I battled like an expert and theyranawaycryingandwemakeagreatteamand-" He was then cut off by a powerful thunderbolt, shocking his very being to the core as he couldn't let go of the Jolteon. When it was finished, he fell over in a black smoldering heap. "...ow...he's way too strong..." Still lying down, Ramon looked over at the boy with effort, and asked, "So...so why were those two chasing you exactly? You had said something about controlling...Kyogre? With your...OH MY GOD how do you even HAVE those laser-shield things? How are you doing that?! And are you...blushing?"
