Fountain of Youth (Private)

The dew still clings to the leaves of the trees as it remains shaded by the above canopy of the jungle. This rather impressive specimen of Mother Nature's work proved to be difficult to treck through for a Mr. Yoshi Smith, lifetime explorer and renowned adventurer. Cutting through the branches and tangibles this early Spring's morning was becoming a difficult task the older he got, being fifty-one currently. His maintained gray beard and hair allowed one to get a glimpse at his inner wisdom, but one might be fooled by these colors, for his heart could tell you a different story. Always seeing himself as a mere child, his passion for exploration has never ceased in all of his years, making a name for himself worldwide as the man you want to have to find your stuff.

What was so important about this seemingly normal jungle he now found himself fighting within? He could tell you many stories of randomly picking a spot to venture to, and finding himself riches, and this story did not differ much. Having spun a globe and jabbing it to a stop with his finger, he now found himself in the midst of a rather unknown jungle, in an area where even he couldn't describe it as being near anything of grand importance. Civilization was nowhere to be found for miles upon miles, and the only people he had to rely on, for support and transport, were himself, and his dear friends, who appeared to struggle behind him as he cut his way through the greenery.

right behind the great Mr Yoshi Smith was his spirited partner johny matixs, but always called *Krow* by his freinds.He is now 40 years old, and he has been traveling with Yoshi for many years, along with his close freind Jenni. while krow shared Yoshis child heart, young 30 year old jenni has a bit of a teenager heart, and has always wanted children. though she is not married, she has feeling for both krow and yoshi, but does not know if either of them share her feelings.

His brow dripped with sweat as Yoshi swung at the flora and weeds just a few more times, but in a circular fashion. "Alright," he said as he adjusted his hat; one might say it looked similar to a certain famous Adventurer's hat, that somehow never gets left behind! "I think we should take a small break and refuel," he continued, sitting down in the middle of the small clearing he cut away for them. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a compass, adjusting his rather round and thin glasses to read it better. "North-east," he thought aloud. They were still going the right way as planned, which bothered him. He was not one to stick to the plan, and hoped something interesting would throw them off course.

krow followed suit of his freind, his brow flushed with sweat as he fell on the ground out of fatugie. jenni came in behind him, sighing at his horrible condition and sat down next to him "so, are we lost yet yoshi~?" she asks, knowing that we were since he always liked getting us lost.

"I'm going to have to say...not yet, my dear," he replied in a saddened tone. For a jungle as spectacular as this, he wondered why nothing interesting was happening. He examined his surroundings a little more as he sat, admiring the natural tree formations and wildlife. Several baby bunnies scurried about near some bushes just outside his clearing. A few small monkeys could be seen swinging from some nearby branches. Birds could be heard from every direction. He's always loved the sounds of nature, and this was no exception. He closed his eyes in an almost meditative state, listening for anything out of the ordinary.

Yoshi could hear the bugs buzzing, the animals singing, his friends breathing. He could also faintly hear some ruinning water, but that's no surprise either. He opened his eyes again, and looked towards his friends. "Perhaps if we venture further, something will pop up," he recommended. It seemed to him they had been there for an hour, but in reality, it may have only been five minutes. That youthful spark that resides him seemed to allow him to rejuvenate his energy rather quickly, as a child would.
