My Question to you, DA
Hokai, so I ought to be getting my paycheck soon from work and, as is semi-tradition (considering I've only done this twice), I am going to be going out and re-stocking on diapers when I get the chance. My first outing got me some Pampers cruisers, and the second got me some goodnites, now, my question to you, DA... What kind should I get now?
note- this will probably be from a store along the lines of Walgreens/CVS and I can't get any mail order stuff
note number 2- I am aware of the review section, but it's difficult to compare them side-by-side by going from thread to thread
note number 3 (last one, I promise)- any words of encouragement to go out and get ones that will actually fit me would be GREATLY appreciated, considering every time I've gone out to get some, I haven't been able to bring myself to buy some that will fit me
Thanks all!

Here's a tip if you're afraid of talking to the cashier or having people talk to you, just put some headphones in your ears, that's what I do!

Most stores have these self checkouts. Tesco for instance, these are great! I used one to avoid cashiers or people i knew, bad thing though is if you get something wrong, a red light flashes and staff will come XD

Well I cant say this for all stores but I'm a cashier at Wal Mart actually and we are not aloud to say anything about a product that a customer is buying. If we did it's pretty much instant termination of our job. Most likely all stores are this way...So that might give a little more confidence... all that left to do is find an empty line so no other custome rsees you and that doesn't really matter if your a little wasys away from your hometown

Sparky, most drugstores do not carry a self checkout. That's typically a grocery or general store.
Snake's right though. Headphones make all the difference.
I remember last time I got diapers, the lady accidentally rang my diapers up twice, and as such, she had to call the manager over to fix it. Thankfully, my headphones had them avoid speaking to me, outside of a few questions, which were answered swiftly and definitely.
You can do it, dood.

One thing about being nervous while going to pay for diapers too is that at pharmacy's they see it all the time. Sure it might feel weird for you but it may help to think that. Also to them its just someone who is buying something. Heck I went into my local walgreens the other day to see where the diapers I wanted to buy were. I stood there for about a minute or two and while scanning the selection someone walked down the aisle and didn't seem to stare. That really helped me mentally. Most people there don't care and if someone asks just say something like "there for my friend" or something like that, not that they ever ask you. Hope this helps. As for what to get between the two you listed I'd get the goodnites. If you can bring yourself to get diapers that fit try going to Walgreens and getting the store brand. Walgreens has a 100% satisfaction guarantee, the thing that I like about though is that they say you can just take back the unused portion with the original receipt to get your money back.

i haven't try this, but in my mind it works...
1. go to the store and browse
2. pick some random items (coke, chips, anything)
3. while paying: pretend someone is calling you and answer
4. say something like "yeah i got spare money" "what size does he/she needs?"
5. tell the cashier to wait a second
6. run to where the diapers are and grab the ones you want
7. run back to the cashier and pay
and there you go... you got them and probably if someone ask you can say it's for grandmother, grandfather... whatever
hope someone gives it a try and tell me....
(sorry for the bad english, i'm form an spanish speaking country)
