Black Butler (Slight and Prussia)
It was nearing dawn now at the Phantomhive residence. Thin streams of light trailed in through the cracks in the young master's bedroom windows. That, for the time being, was none of Sebastian's concerns. There was breakfast to be made, newspapers to iron (because that did happen in Victorian times...), and little shoes to be polished. A kettle was near ready to whistle atop the stove. Across the kitchen, the stoic black butler was glaring at a pair of the young master's shoes. "Tsk," he clucked, scrubbing the toe of the shoe with a little bit of black polish. "...The young master really shouldn't drag his feet that way..." As the kettle whistled, the butler grimaced. Something about the morning felt... strange.
The morning was starting out much less peacefully at the Trancy estate. Curled up beneath his heavy sheets was the little blonde cricket: Alois. His dreams, presently, had him struggling for breath-- grasping at the strings of consciousness he couldn't quite reach. "Hgh!" He whimpered, tossing violently beneath the sheets; a deed that served only to tangle him further. Just what was the young master dreaming of? spider webs... Normally, that might have been deemed a pleasant dream, were the spider to come and kill the lovely little cricket trapped in the silken web. Instead-- there was no spider. Alois--naked and alone-- remained stranded in the web. The spider, you see, had gone away... chased after a beautiful blue butterfly, leaving him to writhe helplessly in the web. The night came... and with it a powerful storm. Flashes of lightning terrified him in his sleep, and as the rain began--the boy cried out from his sleep in the world of the conscious. "UAaaaAAah!!!" He shouted, screeching bloody murder in the tangle of his sheets. His body arched delicately in terror before a hot, wet flood of urine greeted his soft, white nightshirt. The sheets didn't have a chance-- in an instant, they were sullied... stained a softer shade of yellow that wouldn't be the easiest stain to remove. Though the quiet patter of the boy's accident trailed off, his screamed cries did not. As he slowly came to waking, the boy screeched through the darkness of the estate. "Claude! -- CLAUDE! Claaude, where are you?!" He sobbed hysterically. Tears were streaming down his fair cheeks. It was so dark... and he was alone-- just like the dream.

The young Phantomhive boy was in a similar state as Alois. Tossing and turning in his bed, having a hard time breathing as his nightmare filled his mind with absolute terror. What the nightmare was about was something that appeared quite often during his slumber: Visions of the day his parents were killed, memories of them before the fire... And what had become of him after their death, and before Sebastian had came to save him. What those horrible men had done to him, had left scars that could never be healed, thus the nightmares. Just as the worse was about to happen in the nightmare, Ciel jolted awake with a loud cry, his nightshirt and bedsheets soon soiled by the boy's urine. He shivered, wiping his eyes that were overflowing with tears. A little prouder than Alois, he didn't want to call Sebastian in fear that he would scold him for wetting the bed.
The loud cries of the blonde boy were quite hard to ignore. You could practically hear them even if you were outside the estate. Claude, who had been preparing breakfast, sighed slightly as soon as the cries reached his ears. Leaving one of the triplets to finish breakfast up, he hurried up to Alois' bedroom, opening the door and seeing the young boy in an absolute wreck. While his emotions didn't show it very well, seeing Alois like this made him quite worried. He hated to see him like this.
" ...Another bad dream, I assume? "

The kettle began to scream, and with its shrill hiss of steam, the demon heard something else. No-- he felt something. He could tell hiss young master's soul was despairing; and though Ciel was too proud to call him, he would come. He would always come. His lips pressed into a prim, hard line as the boy cried out, but quickly quieted himself. It was but a breath later that he had come up with the excuse to invade the young master's room. Carting the tea-- and the breakfast he'd made in a blink, he wheeled the cart through the estate. The dark hallways were long-- but when you were a demon... nothing was as long as the eternity spent waiting for such a worthy, ruthless master. His white gloved-hand pressed quietly against the door and without a knock, the butler slipped through the door. Greeting the young master with a smile, he cooed: "Bocchan... Good morning. I am surprised to find you awake. I thought I might surprise you with breakfast in bed," he hummed. Sebastian wasn't allowed to lie to Ciel... and yet-- somehow he'd made it the truth. Ah! The powers of a demon butler. Stepping closer, he smelled it-- the pungent aroma of fear and filth. His dark chocolate eyes shifted in their sockets from the young master's face... to the sheets. "Bocchan..." He murmured, as though to try and drag a confession from the boy.
The moment he heard the approach of polished shoes, he leered toward the door. His eyes were already red and puffy from his tears-- but what was there to be done about it. "Claud!" He hiccuped as the door swung open. Heaven pity Hana or the triplets if it had been them! Alois would have thrown things! Alois would have burnt the whole room down-- the whole house down! "Claud..." he choked once more, struggling against the sheets before he was able to wrench his hands and shoulders free of the wet mess. As Claude inevitably approached the bed, the boy threw his arms up around the stiff butler's waist and yanked himself against the man. "...it's so dark..... Claude-- I was all alone... so dark... Claude-- You left me alone!" He accused, his tears bleeding into the spider's prim black uniform. "...so cold.... so..." Pausing, the boy's face shifted to one of confusion as he mumbled: "...wet..."

Damnit, Ciel figured that Sebastian had heard him crying... The butler wouldn't fool him with the 'breakfast in bed' excuse. He soon noticed that Sebastian was looking over at the sheets, and he started to blush from embarrassment. " W...What? What are you looking at, Sebastian?? " He tried to make it sound like he didn't know that he had an accident, moving the sheets slightly as an attempt to cover the spot on the bed. Of course, that didn't help things at all...
Claude quickly picked up the scent of Alois' accident, pretty much as soon as the boy had embraced him. " I didn't leave you alone, I'm right here, aren't I...? " He tried to sound as soothing as possible. Which when you're a demon who didn't express his emotions very well, that was a challenge. " And it would seem you had a bit of an... accident, which would explain why you're wet. "

The boy blushed-- and that was all the damning evidence the demon needed. His devil's grin curled itself over perfect lips before he stepped forward. "If I draw back those sheets... will I find deceit?" he asked quietly. "--what will I find?" he added, cornering the poor young master with the figurative question. Hedging closer to the bed, the butler leaned over and ran his gloved fingertips over the hem of the sheets, threatening to yank them back and expose the mess. "...Bocchan," He sighed-- or was it a groan. "...Didn't this happen yesterday as well?" What direction was Sebastian taking this?
Alois was difficult to comfort once he was upset... near impossible, really. As Claude insisted he had never left, Alois shook his head, smearing his tears against the butler's prim vest. "No... liar... You're a liar....Claude..." he blubbered hysterically. The mention of his accident forced his face to flush several shades darker. The dark crimson of his blush now reached the tips of his ears! "...Shut up... I don't... Liar!" he shouted-- this time about the wet little predicament he was in. It wasn't the first time the young master had practically ruined his bed... and it likely wouldn't be the last. Too much tea before bed? --or did little Alois have a persistent problem?

Ciel glared slightly at the butler, not wanting to admit what he had done, and definitely not wanting Sebastian to pull the sheets back just to prove that he did indeed wet the bed. " N..No, this has never happened before! Now let go of my sheets...! " He pulled back at them, his blush only getting redder. It was probably from the tea he had before going to sleep, it simply had to be. Of course, he had wet the bed a few times before... This wasn't the first incident. Not like Ciel was going to admit that, however.
The blonde's blush was slightly amusing to Claude, especially since it had reached his ears. " I'm not a liar, the evidence is clearly all over your bedsheets. And all over your nightshirt. " This had happened a few times before, and it was quickly becoming a problem as washing the sheets every other day was rather tiring. As well as washing the nightshirts.
( Oh, well goodnight to you~! <3 I can't wait to continue this! )

Sebastian stood beside the bed, his lovely face hardening as he looked down over the little master. “I would like to remind the young master what a deplorable liar he is,” he corrected in a nonchalant tone. It might have been sing-song, but was too sober to have such a quality. Leaning down toward the young Phantomhive heir, the sleek butler gave the sheets a suggestive tug. “I needn’t remind the master that lying is not a trait befitting of a gentleman… I am not only one hell of a butler—but also one hell of a tutor. I am in charge of seeing that you are groomed to become a proper Earl… I wonder what I should do if I uncover…” Yanking the sheets back dramatically, the sheets wavered in the air as though hovering before sailing away from the bed and crumpling in a surprisingly neat pile at the foot of the bed. “—a lie.” The sad state of the sheets was clearly visible now—as well as the wet stain on the young master’s nightgown. “Oya, oya,” he scolded. “I don’t suppose you’ll tell me someone snuck in while you slept and wet your bed for you, bocchan?” What a foolish lie THAT would have been. Now it was time to watch the young master flounder in his lie—and dread the coming consequences.
Claude wasn’t a liar, hmm? –but Alois was. This shouldn’t have been surprising though. He’d grown up on the streets—noble life didn’t suit him. He swore. He ate atrociously, unless Claude spoon-fed him, which was more often than not. (Even in the anime! –squeal-)He made messes wherever he went. He ran in the hallways. Alois did everything a little nobleman should not have done—and yet, Claude still stayed with him. “Are you mad?” the boy whimpered, looking up with tear-filled eyes. Snivelling, the little blonde boy clawed at his butler’s vest, wrenching his silver pocket watch away in the process. Climbing up Claude’s Torso, he sat on his knees, snuggling into the stoic man’s shoulder. “…shut up. I don’t want to talk about this,” he mumbled. “…Clean up this filthy mess,” he hissed—a weary glaze of anger riddling his voice. How like the boy to lash out in anger due to his own mistakes and shortcomings.

Ciel looked down, angrily staring at the mess on the sheets. Yes, he was aware that he had lied, and he was fully aware of his accident. He didn't need Sebastian to tell him that lying was 'not a trait to being a gentleman' and all that other stuff. It was irritating enough as it was to him that he had even had an accident in the first place... Only babies wet themselves, and he wasn't one! " S..So what, I wet the bed... Again... " He said the last part quietly, ashamed to even admit that this wasn't the first time. " The only thing you can do about it is wash the sheets and my nightgown, no need to make a big fuss about it... "
There were mainly two reasons why Claude stayed with the boy. One, he was a demon. He had made a contract with Alois, and expected to take his soul when it was time. And what a delicious soul it would be. The second reason was that he felt a little sorry for Alois. Though he didn't show that often. " Of course, your highness. And I'm not mad at you. " He reassured, knowing it still wouldn't be enough to calm the boy down. He was at least thankful Alois wasn't completely raging like before.
