Adoption

Jake let out a yawn, scratching his head slowly as he heard the alarm clocks start going of throughout the orphanage. He rolled over and looked over the rail of the bunk bed. He looked down at the sleeping kid on the bottom bunk. Jake frowned, and rolled back over, hugging his stuffed dog. He heard rain and thunder outside and frankly, he was warm. He wanted to sleep.

Sam was the kid sleeping underneath him and groans a bit as the bunk squeks becaasue of Jake's moving around. The boy was just sleeping in his undies, which in this case was a soaked diaper

Jake was recently turned 7, just a few days ago. Although he didn't feel much different than when he was 6, and didn't really act like it either. At night, he was mostly in diapers and sometimes pull ups... And in the day, he was mostly in pull ups, sometimes diapers... He had never really been properly potty trained, and it wasn't exactly an easy task, despite him being an easygoing kid. He was just very active, and impatient. It was hard to get him to focus on stuff like that. And his parents death handnt helped. And his sister... His twin sister whom he loved so much, he hadn't seen her in a year... They had been split up in the foster system. He knew she was in an orphanage or home in the same state, but he hadn't seen her since the car accident almost a year ago. He prayed every day she would turn up at the orphanage, but who knew. Now, Sam was his best friend. Jake hopped off the bed in his captain America Pjs, swinging his legs over the side of the bed, and climbed down to Sams bed, landing at his feet on top of the covers.
"Hey Sam!" Jake exclaimed, starting to wake up and become alert.

Sam yawns loudly and stretches as he sits up. Sam was in the same boat as Jake potty training wise. "hey Jake" he swings his legs out onto the floor 'how did you sleep?"

"Ok, I guess... how about you?" Jake asked, bouncing up and down on Sam's bed a few times on his butt. He glanced around at the other kids waking up. Many of the Boys wore superhero pajamas like Jake, or footie pajamas. Some wore only their undies and a shirt, and some wore just their undies. The boys had one large shared room, as did the girls across the hall. Each of the two rooms had a bathroom, and the two bathrooms were connected by a door, which was almost always locked. Down the hall was a staircase, and down the stairs was a huge living room, a dining hall, and of course a large play area. And of course there were many other rooms, since the orphanage was huge. It gave off a "Hogwarts" "Harry Potter" feel.

Sam sighs loudly "i wanna get breakfast now' he starts to waddle to the door

Jake grabbed his stuffed dog, and ran over to catch up with Sam. A steady flow of kids poured into the hallway. Girls pours out of their now opened door. They all wore long night shirts down to their knees, with Disney princesses on them. Their hair was either braided, in pigtails, or pony tails.

Sam sighs as they all head into the cafeteria

Jake threw his arm around Sam's shoulder as they sat at a table. A few cute girls and some boys they were friends with Sat with them, most yawning or fidgeting in their seats.
