Appearance: Tall is one thing most kids notice about Alistair. Relatively... Normal, is another. His hair is usually a bit messily brushed, while still retaining charm. He dresses well, preferring nice shirts and jackets for events, and a clean outfit for his home life. He tries to be a father in appearance as well as practice.
History: Alistair was an average man. He worked a 9-5, made decent pay, and generally contributed his part. One day, he was injured in an accident, and hurt his back. The man spent his down time living with his sister. While he recovered, he really got to see how she lived with her son and her daughter, and became enamored with the thought of becoming a father. Alistair's dreams came one step closer when his sister introduced her son's psychiatrist, Andy, to him. They fell madly in love, and married after dating for some time.
With the settlement money from his accident, Alistair came up with a plan. He bought a mansion, and renovated it. Then... He opened the doors. He and Andy would help the needy, the abandoned, and the misplaced children out there, by being fathers to them. The house is maintained by government grants, leaving Alistair a full time father.
Personality: Very kind, but stern when needed, Alistair is a classic 'father' type. Nothing makes him happier than watching his fostered little ones thrive, and nothing makes him angrier than something happening to them, or to his husband. He is protective, but knows when to let go... Usually. Sometimes Andy has to help him with that.

Interests/Hobbies: Alistair is a reader. He loves to sit down with a glass of wine and a good novel. He also likes a good game of chess.
Miscellaneous: His back injury has healed quite well, leaving able to do most things a dad is required to do around the house. But he can't roughhouse quite like he used to.
