Halloween daycare(Private)

Halloween the day that once held importance to all had faded to the point that now for the most part only holds importance to the children still it has teenagers and adults enjoying it mostly via parties around Halloween. Sadly with the fading of the traditions of old ,magic runs unchecked and chaotically on this day unnoticed by the masses as some may notice but those are very few and far in between

Our story starts with a small group of friends that are headed to a old abandoned daycare, that had gone up in flame during the yearly costume party years ago. Which a unspoken rule between the group was to dress up as someone or something related to the ghostly/undead aspect of the supernatural

one of the usual members of the group, a twenty year old named jacob, dressed up in a grim reaper costume looked around, smirking. "so, this is the place, eh? the town's famous haunted daycare?" he asked with a chuckle.

Another one that had seemingly popped out of nowhere a year ago had made friends with the group within that time. The person had always been unnaturally pale and had always carried for some reason a pacifier on a string which the pacifier had always been passed off as her being a regular at raves . This persons name is Miharu and she had choose to dress as Boton from Yu Yu Hakusho mainly because she liked the character ''Oh its haunted alright I know it happens right when night falls on Halloween thats when the spirit world is most active and the barrier between realms is nearly nonexistent ''Miharu unknown to the group had planned this out sense before she befriended anybody.

Another person known as Jack that was practically the opposite in every way of Miharu had fallen in love with Miharu which he had been talked into dressing as Koenma well in truth it was a bet between friends ''Is it just me or is this place repairing?''Jack asked for each second passed of the setting sun what could be passed off as a trick of the mind the drawings and everything else in the place seemed to be getting in better shape each second

"Well, unless scares up the refreshment box, the only thing haunting us now is our stomachs." Jacob joked, chuckling as he wrapped an arm around the two lovebirds. Truth be told, he'd have gone for a simular costume choice to them, but they had taken the best choices, so he went with the reaper.

Miharu rolled her eyes''Speak for yourself I ate before coming'' Truth is Miharu hadn't needed to but had anyway. She flicked the real oar she had gotten just to complete the costume said oar had connected with a almost invisible string breaking it. Thereby causing a dark cloth she had hidden in the shadows fall away revealing refreshments that she had prepared to fit the theme of the meeting place nothing embarrassing thankfully. Its part of the plan mainly so enough time is killed,really its annoying but she had to have this started earlier then most of the others thanks to the plans of those she befriended already had. But thankfully only afew minutes remain before the place becomes active to affect these people and she could ditch this annoying physical appearance which isn't what she really looks like as the physical appearance is what she would have likely looked like if she had lived to the age the appearance is though the skin would have been a natural completion color instead of as pale as a corpse white more or less

Jack raised a eyebrow at the fact Miharu had refreshments prepared for they had planned to do what some people call party hoping thanks to being invited to several parties but he noted items both himself and Jacob like alot in the mix

"Don't get so glum miharu. I mean, come on. It's halloween. Have a little fun, right jack?" Jacob said, smiling. Out of the three, he always did like Halloween best. Some even said he was a bit childish when it came to the holiday, but he preferred to say he was fun.

Miharu gave a bitter laugh''If only you knew''Miharu had said that in a creepy fashion something she's known to do when she'd prefer a topic to be dropped or something isn't agreeing with her

Still just then something started to happen to them and the daycare for the sun had finally set allowing a flux of magic and supernatural energy to infest the place more then normal anyway. All of them of course was getting smaller Jack is being changed into the baby form of his costume . Miharu on the other hand started to become translucent then shrink into looking like that one young girl Jacob and Jack seen in that old photo in the locket she had with her,showing she apparently lied about the girl being a relative that died in the daycare fire seeing as she is the ghost of the child.

The daycare on the other hand seemed to change into looking like a ghostly new building inside with no damage

Jacob's eyes widened as he began shrinking, and he trembled, scared. "Wha..what's going on!" He cried out, frightened as his costume shifted, starting to turn into an anime costume to fit the ones of his two friends, namely, that of cyborg 001.

Miharu was rather happy for some reason''Oh its nothing major it happens each year''Miharu's joy for no longer being in that physical manifestation was clouding her thought process''You know the yearly reports of people missing around the end of Halloween? Afew always are the victims of this places magic and supernatural hold.''In otherwords Miharu had said this place takes people and turns them younger perhaps even for spirits and other beings to care for them in some other place

Jack oddly was handling it better then Jacob then again Jack had been hard to get bothered or upset

"B-but those are supposed to just be myths, old stories!" Jacob exclaimed, continuing to shrink.
