The Dead Rises (private)

(Private between me and Rye.)

Tyler was your average loner goth student on campus. He kept to himself and didn't bother to socialize with much people other than in his own cliques. On the day the whole world went to shit, Tyler was at his campus cafeteria, grabbing a bite to eat before he heads off to his afternoon science class.

Robert was sort of a geek in the same way Tyler was kind of a goth. He ticked the boxes , sticking to himself and working hard on studying as opposed to making friends and came off cold sometimes. People knew he had some odd collections of comic books , action figures and the like but none could really say for sure , rumours on top of rumours. He headed down the halls towards class , seeing a few of the teachers moving about worriedly. Maybe there was a meting of some sort. As he passed a window he could see the school gate. It was locked shut during class hours but there was a crowd of teachers and such and some soft banging on the rails. Maybe a drunk? It didn't really matter , he headed to class just as he normally would.

After class, Tyler went walking through the campus grounds to get back to his dormroom when he suddenly heard a shriek of terror coming from a girl. He ran over to where he thought he heard the scream and he started to see other students running away from something. Curious, he kept moving forward until he saw a group of people, walking sluggishly, groaning, and covered in blood.

[Rye]

Robert didn't have class so he was in the library. He had noted some students walking past to the nurses office, more than the normal set who wanted to get out of a test of were just board stiff and wanted an excuse to go for a wander. When he heard the bell for class end he got up to head to class when he heard girls scream , of course it was a girl. He went out to the hall to find seas of students screaming and collapsing over each other the thunder down the hall. He looked down and caught a glimpse of blood. Was someone hurt? His eyes widened as he saw what was at the end of the hall , lurching , groaning was a group of students , stained with blood , grabbing hold of any others that were making a sound and without pause , bit down and took a chunk out of them.
