Dexter is working hard in his lab.

D - I hope I can finish my latest invention before DeeDee decides to come by. She will probably ruin it. With this invention I won't have to worry about anything she breaks from now on. The Returning Ray can bring any broken item back to a previous state. Just got to tighten a this last bolt.

Deedee slammed the door to the Lab open "DEXTER IT"S TIME FOR DINNER" she calls out in a loud sing song voice. she heard a loud bang followed by an explosion so she of course went down to investigate what had happened curtesy of her shouting.

As the shouting is heard Dexter's wrench slips off the bolt and the large machine starts to tip. Dexter runs as quick as he can to clear the way. As the large machine it the ground the whole thing explodes and Dexter finds himself blown into the wall and covered in ash from the blast. Other than a covering of black soot he seemed no worse for wea, but in a pretty foal mood.

D - DeeDee you idiot! Why are you in my laboratory! You ruin everything.

Deedee found him covered in soot and giggled a bit at her little brother "You okay little bro?" she asked walking over and examining him "C'mon upstairs it's almost dinner time anyway." she said grabbing his gloved hand in her own and dragging him toward the stairs.

Dex - Unhand me woman! Dinner can wait, but science waits for no man!

Dexter shakes hard and the soot all falls off of him. Dexter tries to pull his hand away from his sister. He feel oddly weaker than normal.

Dex - Oh fine. I'll eat quick and be back to work fixing my newest creation that you broke.

Dexter grumbles for a sec and takes his seat at the table. He notices that he is seated lower than normal.

Dex - Hey! What did you do to my chair! I barely reach the table.

"No-one did anything to your chair Silly." she said but noticed how her brother was right he seemed shorter. as a matter of fact He looked like he did several years ago and this greatly confused Deedee she raised an eyebrow looking him up and down trying to process what was happening.

Dexter grumbles under his breath and grabs a phone book from the living room. He places it in his chair so he can sir properly at the table and begins quickly eating his food.

Deedee sits down and with her normal hyper active amounts of energy digs into her own food. she smiles down at her little brother noticing that his face had a slightly more piudgy look too it. It made her want to coo at him even more.
