The world had changed since humanity split on the evolutionary path way. The population had split between normal humans, and humans which had started to develop more fox-like features. They developed tails, and longer ears, as well as having larger canine's. Their senses were also a lot stronger, and their bodies were slightly shorter.

The two branches of humanity didn't trust each other very much at all, and quickly split into two countries. But, the two countries still worked together, having the same schools and emergency services, but separate governments. The populations mixed, but not in a socially acceptable way. Marriage between the two was very frowned upon and difficult to get, but it was possible pending both countries signing the marriage form.

Enter James, a young Neko who had met the love of his love at college. A young human girl, who he found to be absolutely beautiful, the equal to himself in beauty. James had brown, almost yellowish hair, ears and tail. He wore a thin blue shirt, and brown pants, with a hole made for his long furry tail. He took his appearance very seriously, and brushed his fur several times each day, determined to look his best.

Smiling, the foxy neko crept into his lovers apartment by using the hidden key she had given him, and curled up on her couch. She was at work, so he found the opportunity perfect for a nap until she came back. He curled up in a ball, hugging his own large tail, and soon fell asleep, awaiting his lover's warm embrace and return. He had gathered the paperwork earlier so that they could talk to the joint Neko and Human's affair committee about possibly getting married. It was a long process, but he knew it would be worth it in the end.

Isabella Capulet was a beautiful girl and cared somewhat for her looks. That was, as long as she was in public. Despite being asleep, his sensitive ears twitched when she opened the door, alerting him to her presense. He smiled at leaned into his hand as she walked inside, causing his eyes to fluster. Smiling, he spied her cute rump walking towards the bathroom, and slowly crept up from off the couch, on all 4's at least for the moment, trying to be quiet. A grin on his face, he climbed out from behind the couch, and went towards her, before quickly tackling her a few feet from the bathroom door. "Gotcha," He said with a loud playful laugh, his tail wrapping around her waist as he pinned her to the ground. Smiling, he leaned in and gently nuzzled her neck, covering it with kisses. "I missed you," He said with a grin, pulling his head away from her, but still pinning her. "And I got the forms for meeting with the N and H alliance. We can set up an appointment to go meet with them at their next meeting."

She couldn't help but giggle as she found herself being thrown towards the floor of course, there was a brief moment of panic but she knew when she saw that fuzzy little face and those adorable little ears, felt his soft tail around her, and heard his voice that she was more than safe like this. She even let out a little laugh as he did. "Mmmm so you caught me did you little kitty?" she teased, enjoying his soft nuzzling and the quite worship of his next. "I missed you too. Every part of you." She grinned at the thought of having the papers. They were getting closer, she could feel it. "Did you already sign us up?" she asked curiously, reaching up with her craning neck and catching his lips, as she pulled him into a somewhat sloppy kiss.

He smiled at her, and squeezed her tighter on the ground, nuzzling her still. He groaned at the kiss, kissing her back before pulling away. Looking down at her, he said, "I filled out the neko race part. You still need to fill out the human part. Turns out there are a lot of hoops to jump through to get married. I dunno," He shrugged, before nuzzling her side again. He then grinned and said, "Who are you calling a kitty. I'm a full fledged fox," He taunted, reaching down and starting to attempt to tug off her work pants.

"So to me you are just the fluffiest little lover I could possibly have." she smiled freeing one of her hands to work on unbuttoning her pants to help him out.
