Diapers, Raptors and Jurassic Park/World

Ever since I heard about Jurassic World's Raptor Squad and learnt about the rumors of gun-toting raptors, I've always liked to imagine them in diapers.

Now...I'm trying to figure out how this could work and what rationale could he made for diapering them.

I'd imagine that they'd probably need some experimenting to get the whole gun thing down so that they don't shoot themselves in the face. Plus, if they're going to be squad, communication may be vital, so maybe the additions lead to some issues with their digestive system and such because of maybe multiple mistakes.

Or maybe it could involve them simply not wanting to leave any bit of evidence behind. Perhaps their field of work can get a little.. hectic at times and such.

Just a suggestion. Also, I think this is pretty interesting too, honestly, but I don't think having three role-plays with me is the greatest, as much as I'd like to do this one.

After some decision, I'm going to remove all references to Jurassic Park.

The Raptors are fully sapient but speak a little bit of English.

Humans will be present in the fic.

Well, will these raptors be part of any sort of project? That could be on reason. Another could involve injury or maybe their bodies don't react well to the more modern time's food.

I had been thinking about the idea and I figured them to be in a Jurassic Park-like setting (Jurassic Park doesn't hold a monopoly on the idea of revived dinosaur theme parks).

But the dinosaurs aren't revived from amber remains, they're cobbled together from a variety of DNA using a bird as a base (as they're the closest living relatives to dinosaurs) and then genetic engineering techniques, assorted growth factors, epigenetic modification and other high-tech biotechnology and molecular biology techniques.

Jurassic Park's method is finding wrecked Lamborghini in a junkyard and rebuilding it using bits and pieces of whatever cars you could find.

This method is more akin to finding some pictures and blueprints of a Lamborghini, taking a BMW M3 and modifying it using everything from a helicopter to an old mattress and then machining or otherwise modifying the parts and the frame until you get a car that looks like a Lamborghini. If done right, you'll have a car that looks, drives, performs and handles like a Lamborghini but it isn't even remotely a real Lamborghini.

As for why the raptors are sapient and talk...super-science!

They could have been created as a military/guard animal or maybe as cheap labor for the park?

I see what ya mean.

I feel like considering that you would be dealing with dinosaurs here, the things that many are probably more used to seeing extinct and such, it may be more of a secret. I do not believe that you'd see them in a park, but maybe acting in service of the military on top secret missions that can never go public no matter what.

I still like the idea of the dinosaur park though.

I did consider that the raptor trainer and their raptors end up caught in the middle of some ugly business deals...and then end up having to save their company. Or some such plot.

But how exactly would the diapers come into play on that one? And what sort of ugly business details would they get themselves involved in?

Also, will the raptors even have the whole sentience thing with the park idea?

I considered them still being sapient and talking even with the park idea.

As for dirty business deals...could be someone selling the genetic information and patents to less than savory individuals. Could be someone "leaning" on the upper-management to hand over their park or its resources. Could be someone trying to destroy the park.

As for the diapers, the raptors will eventually have to leave their enclosure to help their trainer/Alpha.
