Excited at the prospect of winning a million dollars, he was quick to reply, and was beyond excited at the chance to compete.

Bio: Alex has always been a man of strategy. Having graduated from high school at the age of 10, he went on to pursue university, getting a doctorate in psychology, biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. He is one of his countries most cherished scientists, however the stress of working too hard had gotten to him. After having spoke with his therapist, she recommended he do something to distract his mind, a game of strategy. Seeing an ad for the game, he applied, and to his surprise was accepted. Now he competes for fun, seeing his opponents as mere pawns in his game.

It was a crisp morning in the northern Atlantic as 9 small boats sailed towards a small island. However from a mile away you can tell that this wasn't a normal island. No, you could see the image of roller coasters blazing down the tracks, logs going down streams of water, and large platforms crashing down from the top of towers. In the center of the island was a large skyscraper, with a point at the very top, with a light flashing around it similar to a lighthouse. Music could be heard coming from the island, faint, though growing louder as the boats came towards it. The music was off-beat, and rather unpredictable, unpleasant to the ears. Something wasn't right on the supposed amusement park island. Something wasn't right indeed.

The nine boats were traveling in a V-like pattern. On the deck of the front was a small thin boy, who looked like he wasn't a day older than 15, but actually was 18. He was wearing a brightly colored purple spandex suit, one that left little to the imagination. He seemed to be meditating, and enjoying the cool ocean breeze.

Inside the second boat's cabin, lying in bed was another short boy, though he wasn't nearly as short as the first one, nor did he looked nearly as young. He was wearing a green camouflage shirt, and a pair of blue jeans. He was currently sitting at the desk in the cabin, flipping through a book, and writing down notes. The book appeared to be a book on game theory, clearly he was strategizing for the coming weeks.

The third boat initially appeared to be empty. All of the boats were controlled by remote control, but this one seemed to be abandoned. But in fact, holding on to a rope connected the back end, was a tall well built boy wearing a blue bathing suit. He was water skiing, and seemed to be enjoying himself. Until a wave came, and knocked him down, sending him crashing into the water. But, he had secured himself with a rope, and with a quick tug, he was holding onto the back of his boat, relaxing in the cool ocean water.

A boy in a black hoodie came out of the cabin and stared out. He wore black jeans in loose fitting and had the hood flicked up. He started whistling as the boat rocked over each wave bit by bit. He sighed , he wished he had got in better shape than this. He had a feeling this was going to be like gym class. Looking over at the island he couldn't make his mind up about it. At least it was cooler at night. He stared up at the sky , might rain. That could be good or bad.

Across on the other boat was another boy. This one still and un-moving. He wore a red t-shirt with a yellow hoodie wrapped around his waist and tied in a not. His sharp eyes were already scouting the area for points of interest. He pondered what weapon type he should use. A bow was a safe bet , but he wasn't hunting to kill. Human was always off the menu his dad always said, but could easily make fine sport.

The third couldn't care less about the approaching glamour f the island. Wearing a very loose fitting shirt and shorts with very short legs he kicked back. This felt more like a holiday than a challenge. The boy looked a little too young for this , but must have passed in order to get into the contest . He felt carefree for now but had to et his act together and be the scared little contestant that's vulnerable and needs protecting.

The small, raven haired boy sat at the bow of the boat and stared off at the ever growing land mass. He was dressed in black skinny jeans that hugged his bottom perfectly. A black ‘Kingdom Hearts’ T-shirt with the heartless logo in dark red over top of a black and grey long sleeved thermal shirt. On his feet he wore a pair of black on black chucks. His nails were panted black as well as his lips. He had eyeliner surrounding his eyes and a single earing in his right ear. He wore a rune stone around his neck attacked to a leather cord. His wallet was attached to his leather rainbow studded belt by a chain and had two small keyblade charms dangling from it. He let out a mournful sigh and hugged himself, fearing whatever was to come.

On a different boat a different boy gazed at the water looking board. His orange hair was streaked with purple. He had on lavender eye shadow and pink glossy lipstick, as well as blush and mascara. He wore a pair of dangling earrings and a purple and black choker that looked more like a collar. He wore a very short purple and pink plaid micro skirt that did little to hide his black satin panties with pink bow, trim and lace. He wore a white belly shirt with the words ‘Fairy Princes’ written in glitter. He wore purple and black striped thigh high stockings with pink chucks. He had on two different arm socks one pink and black, the other purple and black, with a single wrist cuff over one. He was examining his glittery purple and red nails, and squirming in his sear every so often.


On another boat, another boy was doing mild calisthenics, to keep himself limber. He was dressed in loose fitting olive cargo shorts, a pair of sturdy sneakers over his gym socks. On his torso he had on a loose fitting mesh Philadelphia Flyers hockey jersey over a plain black t-shirt. He was looking forward to the competition and to meeting new people, and to hopefully get in a prank or two.

The three boats began to slow as they approached the island. Sitting at the dock was a man in a loose blue button-up shirt, and a carefree attitude. He looked to be around age 35, and clearly was growing impatient waiting. Once they had finally all arrived, he went to the center of the dock and said, "My name is John McBane, and I welcome you to the island of lost souls. Here you nine will face insane roller coasters, haunted mazes, rigged carnival games, and maybe even have a ride through the tunnel of love. The island used to be a function amusement park, until 3 kids died on one of the rides 10 years ago. Since then they had to close down, and we were able to buy it to host the game. Now, if you'll please, could you 9 please climb out of your boats to the enterance way in front of the docks, and introduce yourselves to everyone."

In front of the dock was a large wooden sign, with a picture of an old scary clown, with his mouth open as the gate. Across his forehead was the words, "Island of Lost Souls," seemingly validating the host's claims that this was once a functioning horror themed amusement park.

Grinning ear to ear, Dick ran off his boat to be the first to stand in the mouth of the clown. "Hello everyone, my name is Richard Sharp, but you can call me Dick. In case you can't tell by my spandex suit, I work in the circus as an acrobat. I'm looking forward to working with all of you. Some of you more than others," He said with a giggle, as he gave a wink towards David, Micheal, and Daniel. He didn't seem to be the least be fazed by the idea that they'd be competiting in an old horror park, nor the story that three kids died here.

Michel took his time, being of a slightly larger size and stepped out. He stuck his hands into his hoodies pockets and walked along the wooden pier. His feet made little to no noise. Shivering he walked on staring up at the delapadeated buildings. He read the island name out loud "Hm , more truth in it that it meant" he stated , having read the articular some years back. Taking a deep breath he looked around at the contestants and had a think on which he could use and which would be useless. For now he had nothing to offer, but neither did anyone else , best time to get some loyal partners. He saw Dick and moved away a little , he kinda blended into the background and walked on to the source of the sounds. He wouldn't mind some candy floss or a candy apple. He really should had eaten before getting on the boat.

Next out was Jamie , he stepped out , carefully trying out the boards before stepping out. He clutched his arms with his hands. The boy greeted Dick "hey , I'm Jamie , nice to meet you" he said with a smile "it's so scary out here" he said looking around at the place and edging a little into his personal space. "I get scared easy , mind if I stay close" he asked with a blush.

The muscular boy in the hockey jersey stepped up. He was smiling a huge cheerful smile. "Hi y'all, I'm David, and I think this is gonna be a total blast!" He said surveying the other contestants. He made a mental note of which ones to watch. He walked over to Dick and extended his hand.

Corry strutted up to the center of the dock, swishing his hips as he walked. "Well if you muuust know, my name is Corry." He said in a board drawl. "and do you think we could have picked a place a little less dirty? i mean fuck the rides, this place is filthy" he complained as he pop his chewing gum, and put his earphones back on.

The black haired emo boy shuffled nervously to the center of the group. he was hugging himself, too aware of everyone's eyes. "I'm Nico" he said quickly in a panicky mumble and quickly moved away, unknowingly towards Jamie.

James then jumped onto the dock from the water, grinning as he shook his soaking wet hair, accidently getting the host wet. He then blushed, and nervously went to stand by the sign, trying to ignore the evil look of hate he was getting from the man that would be designing their challenges, and torturing them the next couple of days. Seeing Corry, he tapped him on the shoulder and whispered, "How's it going?" His soaking wet skin shined in the sun, and he reaked of sea salt.

Alex slowly peeked his head out of the ship cabin, and forced a nervous smile on his face as he walked down the dock. He didn't like how everyone was staring at him, and tried to make that painfully clear. Biting his bottom lip, he stood by Jaime, who he suspected could make a perfect ally and figurehead for his plans. "You ok," He whispered to the small contestant. "You seem nervous."
