Marceline was looking at a strange object that Bubblegum and uncovered during her stroll in the forest. It....looked unique but the shape was a bit odd. It looked like a chubby baby with small, red rubies for eyes and was colored gold. Well, the red looked a little appealing to this vampire who had the ability to suck away that particular color but the rest of the object looked really odd. The vampire scratched her head as she floated above the couch and hovered around the room, trying to figure out what exactly is this object that her pink girlfriend had found.

"Okay, I'll bite," Marceline finally spoke, "What is this thing again?"

"I am not sure, I think it is magical in nature." Bubblegum said, with a bit of a groan at the "magical" part. She was still getting used to the idea and she did not like having to say that word. "That is why I called up here on this. I thought with your experience with the mystical you might be of some help with this." she explained to Marceline.

Marceline picked up the object and looked at it for a second. Then she looked at the flat bottom and noticed some incantations written in a language that she couldn't decipher. The vampire had a hard time making sure of what the object was. Maybe it was a good luck charm or maybe it's just a paper weight. Either way Marceline was determined to figure out what this object really is. "Okay, I'll see what I can do with this," she said, "But it might take me some time, though. I never have seen writing quite like this before."

"Can you pronounce it? Hearing it from someone else's mouth might help me to remember if I have heard it before. I might not have travelled as much as you Marcy, but I have seen quite a few different cultures." Bubblegum siad with a proud smile. Yes she was showing off a bit in front of her girlfriend, she was entitled to a bit of that!

Marcline was looking at the writing and tried to enunciate the writing but she was having trouble telling what sounds the symbols made. "I don't know," she groaned, "This looks like chicken scratch to me. I'll just be in the other room. Maybe one of your books might help me find out what language this was in." The vampire floated into a different room with the idol, getting annoyed over the fact that she can't make out what the inscription said.

Bubblegum followed Marceline at a firm pace. "If I am bothering you Marcy you don't have to help. It is not a big deal. Just a source of curiosity, that is all." Bubblegum said in an attempt to make her girlfriend feel better about this.

"You are not bothering me at all," Marceline said, sitting down on a desk and pulling out several books, "In fact I was getting really bored today so I needed something to do." The woman read through the pages and flipped through them all until she found what looked at the ancient writing on the doll but it would take some time to piece all the words together to make an understanding. After a couple of moments Marceline began to wonder. What if they weren't incantations but instead a message? Well Marceline won't be able to figure this out on an empty stomach so she needed something red and those rubies looked like they hit the spot.

The woman touched her fangs onto the right ruby and began suckling the color a little bit when the idol began to glow brightly, causing Marceline to pull away. "What the flip flop!!!" she cried, stepping back a little bit.

"Marceline whats wrong!" Bubblegum said as she rapdily turned away from looking for a specific book and ashed over to Marceline. The statue quickly continued to glow brighter and brigther untill suddenlly there was a very bright fash of light and both Marceline and Bubblegum were blinded.

Marceline immediately covered her eyes. As a vampire sunlight wasn't that good for her so her first instinct was to try to shield herself when the statue started to glow. Then, Marceline felt a bit weak and passed out on the floor. Moments passed before the vampire came to and she still felt very weak. "Man....that light must have done a number on me," she groaned, "And it's not even actual sunlight." Trying to get herself up Marceline opened her eyes and immediately noticed something odd. On her hips, in place of her pants, was.....a diaper?

Bubblegum herself was also just getting up. "Note to self invest in sunglasses." Bubblegum muttered to herslef as she rubbed her eyes. She then rubbed her head a bit and turned to Marceline and said "Marcy do you feel...weird"? She stopped talking and just stared at the sight before her, not really knowing how to react to it.
