So what would you guys say to a RP that actually allows for you guys to vote as to what happens, instead of someone just tossing a coin and whatnot? I think it would be hard to do, but I believe I could pull it off. Would you guys like to try that?

Summer, basically instead of the two partners choosing something, the readers would get to vote in some kind if pole to decide what happens next. But it would be more like Red Door or Blue Door with decided upon consequences by the actual RPers

Neat Idea but it can easily wond up going in weird needless directions so you'd need to have some kinda ground rules so the RP doesn't turn into something that makes no sense.

Sounds interesting, but the other thought I have about it is what if people vote for things to happen that one or both parties are not comfortable pursuing? I mean, would these be preset ideas they can vote on? Or do the readers get to put in their own ideas?

The reason I ask is that my preferences my differ from the readers', so if a vote is unfavorable, it may be difficult to continue the RP. However, with some tweaking, this does sound like it could be fun!

Well I was going for the votes will usually be more along the line of red door or blue door. There will be times where the results will be more obvious, but both RPers will have agreed to the consequences for each in PMs, to avoid discomfort. Early on I think it would best to explain what I and my partner absolutely would not do, just to make sure everyone knows.

That sounds like a good idea~! I had a similar idea a while back for the Three Words Game (See "***** An impromptu Writers' Bullpen (Open to all!) *****" in post #131 on page 14 -> http://diaperedanime.com/forum/showt...4/index14.html) but the pace of the current story arc is not as fast as I hoped it would be, so it's taking a little longer for the story to reach the point where the introduction of an open poll would be appropriate. The difference between our ideas is that in mine, the fate of the character concerned would be entirely determined by the open poll without any restrictions regardless of whether any of the writers involved would feel comfortable or not about the possible outcome as a result of the voting, since the story is open for all to create as time moves along. The story in the RP between you and your partner of course, has more private origins, so it would be understandable if the two of you would want to omit a few poll choices that could possibly lead to some eventual outcome which neither one of you would feel comfortable with happening to your associated character. It might be limiting [The story and your population of viewers/voters] in that way [And a turn off for those viewers/voters who would desire to select the omitted poll choices, so as to see how the story would unfold with such parameters] but at least the two of you would still be sharing your RP's story (A possible reflection of a part of yourselves) with the rest of the community!
