My Hero Academia: Excellence Favored a Newer Generation (with Fluffybuttwannabe)

Midoriya, Bakugo, Tamia, and Mark.

The four of them were hand selected by the more the impressed higher ups of the school board to go and lend a hand at a division of schools elsewhere for a nice little break from their studies. One that was still going to be just as important for the future of the world.

Being a good role model for the next generation.

The four of them had excelled in ways that were rather impressive, sure, so by chance or by some strange numerical way of tallying up bullet-points surrounding who they were and what they could do for the class they were assigned to visit, they were picked to visit a school of children much younger than they were and try their hardest to explain to them what it meant to be a UA student, what it took to be a role model, and most importantly, how to be a strong, impressive hero.

Basically the four of them were going to be doing it together. Perhaps bouncing off one another for ideas would lead to some interesting results. The kids would probably flock to Midoriya if they liked nice guys. Maybe Bakugo if they liked angry ones.

At the moment, the two couldn't be sent together on their own of course so two other students from another class were tasked with going with them.

Mark trotted alongside Midoriya and Bakugo as they were on their way, a spring in his step and a confident smirk on his face. "I'm so honored they chose me to do this really. I'm gonna make a big splash."

"Well, remember, this is for the good of the students... uh..." Midoriya began, searching for a name.

"Mark." The black kid with the aquamarine and yellow-lined hero outfit said, shaking his hand. He leered over to Bakugo. "And he's... the guy whose angry all the time right?"

Bakugo blinked his eyes at this, and glared at Mark. "Did I give you permission to refer to me like that? I don't even like the idea of doing this to begin with, much less with Deku of all people. So, shut up so we can get this over with," He said with a huff, crossing his arms. He really wasn't thrilled when he was told about this. He had tried to persuade them to pick someone else, but apparently they wanted him specifically since he was "famous" or something. It all seemed like a load of manure to him. He applied to UA to be a hero, not some spokesperson to a bunch of runts.

"I think it'll be fun," Tamia, the 4th and easiest to miss pipped in, causing Bakugo to jump in surprise. He wasn't sure how he missed this kid. Then again, Tamia was shorter than the others, even shorter than Midoriya. He was a tanned European student that talked with a slight accent that Bakugo couldn't identify. It sounded similar to Russian, but that didn't seem like it was it. Anyway, the kid could easily be misidentified as an elementary school student instead of a high schooler. He was wearing an all black outlet, with tight pants and a shirt, as though he was trying to disappear.

"Where'd you come from? You even old enough to be a student here," Bakugo asked with a growl, turning his annoyance to Tamia.

Tamia just shrugged and said, "I've always been with ya'll, ever since we got dropped off here. You guys just didn't see me."

"I saw..." Midoriya began but decided to rethink his response since it wasn't entirely truthful. "...someone follow behind us for a bit. I just thought they were a pedestrian going in the same direction though. Then I lost track... but I figured it made sense we'd have four people anyway so I'm not totally surprised."

"Hahaha! See that Tamia? You better hurry and gain some inches already bro." Mark lightly teased as the four of them approached the school.

The teacher at the front checked who they were and lead them down the hall once they were inside. It was definitely an elementary school alright. Midoriya hadn't been inside one for ages but they were sure colorful... Ugh. And now a bad memory of him and Bakugo from their youth creeped into his head. He shook it off though. They were here to inspire the next generation after all. Couldn't do that when you're thinking about the rough past.

Once they entered the classroom, the four of them stood in front of a gaggle of kids. There was a nice assortment of them. Some were puzzled. Others looked bored. Some looked excited. Others weren't sure what to exactly think...

Thing is, the air about the room wasn't of allure like it was for someone of All-Might demeanor. It was mostly of intrigue as to how people on a higher level than them were to even be qualified. One blonde kid in particular was staring at them, drumming his fingers on the desk for a bit before he stopped and sat up straight to look between them all.

As the teacher began explaining who the four of them were, what they were here to do, and that she wouldn't be back for the remainder of the day's class, Mark couldn't help but lean over to the others and giggle. "Aww. They're so cute guys. Haha."

Tamia rolled his eyes at Mark's comment about his height, before following them down the hall. He wasn't particularly sensitive about this height, heck it actually made his quirk a little easier to manage. His quirk was that his body could bend in any direction, which made sneaking around so much easier. He was supposed to be a ninja, able to disappear at a moment's notice, so being small was actually an advantage.

Bakugo gave a huff when they walked in. He was still rather annoyed about doing this, and wasn't particularly sure why he had been chosen for it. Pressing his hands together, he looked around wanting to find the right room so that he could get this over with.

Once he walked in, his eyes went wide at the sight of all the kids. He hadn't been expecting that many to be here, and he certainly hadn't been expecting such a mixed reaction. It was downright disrespectful. "Shut up," He growled at Mark, before looking at the blond kid staring at them. He gave the kid his worst glare, trying to get him to look away. If they were going to be stuck babysitting all these brats, Bakugo at least wanted to make sure they were clear who was in charge.

Tamia just sunk back at the end of the line of the UA students. Bakugo was in the front and closest to the board, then Mark, then Midoriya, and finally him. He was hoping they didn't notice him, he never liked elementary school. When he went, he was always the runt, the short kid in the class, and always got bullied for it. Even now, he was the same height as the average kid here. Without his uniform, he could probably be mistaken for a student.

Once the teacher finally left, Bakugo stepped up the front and slammed his hands together, making some light sparks fizzle around him. "Listen up brats, we're here today to tell you about UA and to talk about your futures. My name's Katsuki Bakugo and I want to make it clear that I'm in charge while your teacher's gone. Now, do any of you punks know what your quirks are?"

Coji, the blonde boy that Bakugo shot that angry glare at definitely perked up at seeing that scary face. He felt a sweatdrop run down his face for a second before he got angry himself. Something about that made him go from skeptical to sure of himself. Heroes were awesome people who liked helping people. This guy had the look of that Endeavor guy. Second to All-Might because he was a dingus head.

Midoriya got out of the weird line formation they were in so that he could stand beside Bakugo and let Mark be seen a bit clearer. He felt that it made more sense to stand in a horizontal row so that they saw all of them at once.

Mark smiled with his arms crossed as Bakugo immediately went to town on them all. He wasn't at all bothered by him taking the reins like this. It made him particularly excited. "Alright maggots. Listen and follow-through! We want to know what you've got!"

Midoriya winced a bit before muttering, "I think going at it this way might be a bit... premature."

Coji raised his hand regardless. He didn't raise it to answer him directly though.

"Of course we do. We're not babies. Why wouldn't we know what our own quirks were?" Coji said. They were old enough to have them developed well enough to at least to know what they were. It was that one glare that Bakugo gave him that made him not feel like cooperating correctly.

And Deku here gulped at that response in kind because he knew Kachan there better than anyone...

"I agree," Tamia whispered, watching Mark and Bakugo loudly demand respect and attention. "This can only end badly," He whispered to Midoriya, having a bad feeling about this entire situation. Something was going to go wrong, he just knew it. He just wasn't sure what it would be.

Bakugo smirked at that, and said, "Well in that case boy, why don't you come up and show us what you can do. I'll be the judge of if you have the potential to be a hero or not," He taunted, clearly having his doubts that the boy would show any power at all. He was just an elementary school kid after all, and most of their powers are still developing. No way he'd already know how to properly utilize his power.

"You sure this is a good idea," Tamia said in a quiet tone of voice. "We're in a small classroom after all. Um, sorry, I don't know your name," He said meekly, "Is quirk one that can be done in a classroom like this, or should we go outside first," He asked nervously.

"Shut up, I'm the one who asks the questions," Bakugo shouted, turning to Tamia and glaring at him. "Though, admittedly that's not a completely stupid idea. We're going outside, that way after you see what pathetic quirk this brat has, I can show you what a real hero like me can do," He taunted proudly, turning to head to the door. "Deku, get the door," He ordered.

"Kaachan, maybe we should start things off with a nice vocal lesson first?" Midoriya had more of a nerve within him then initially when it came to Bakugo at this point. He found himself able to speak up when he disagreed with him a lot more nowadays.

Coji rolled his eyes at that, hating the indecisive ones too. He really wasn't impressed by these guys and Bakugo acting like they were just "in-development" while he wasn't felt really hypocritical. He didn't know who this guy was at all except for the fact that he was older and supposedly a big deal at this precious top honor school...

"Hmph. You look like the kid who was attacked by that slime monster some time ago." He said to Bakugo with a hmph. He looked at Midoriya. "And you look like that one kid who tried to save him."

Midoriya blushed a bit. That story was a bit old by this point but it seemed like it'd still be a hot button for Bakugo.

"Either way, we can go outside if he wants but I think the classroom is better too." Coji said, still feeling like talking. So he agreed with Midoriya at least...but then again, Bakugo usually got his way when it was up to him.

Mark chuckled. "Don't care where we go."

Bakugo growled when the story about the slime monster was brought up. "We don't talk about that," He shouted, before turning towards the door. "I don't care what some of you all want and some of you don't. We're going outside so I can actually use my quirk without blowing a hole in the dang roof," He huffed, walking to the door in the classroom.

This classroom actually had a door that led outside to the playground, so it made leaving a lot easier. Opening it, Bakugo went outside and crossed his arms, "Well, come on out," He shouted at the class.

Tamia glanced at Midorya and asked, "So, should we follow him? He's acting nuts again?"

In the class sitting next to Coji was a boy with bright blond hair and green eyes, "Quess we're going outside," He whispered to Coji. "It'd made using your quirk on him more fun anyway. Plus we'd be able to move around easier." And with that, Alex and most of the class got up, going towards the door.

Tamia sighed and began to follow him, a bit annoyed with Bakugo.

Coji sighed. He had to admit, Alex had a bit of a point. Sure, why not? More space to do what he wanted was a nice reason to let Bakugo think he was the one calling the shots. Coji, of course, was a little elementary school kid so he might have been in over his head though. Bakugo was, after all, a so-called high class student hero in progress.

"We should. Just to make sure things don't get out of hand." Midoriya said. "It's not just Bakugo of course, making sure the kids stay calm is a good idea as well. We don't want anyone thinking they're more special than anyone else. It's just a lesson after a-"

"BORING! Come on! Hurry it up!" Mark laughed and slapped his hands against Tamia and Midoriya's backs, pushing them outside!

"ACK! Okay! Sorry! Talking too much, I know." Midoriya sighed but forced a light smile.

Once they were outside, the class was off to the side with the new "teachers" standing next to them. The plain was pretty big so Coji and Bakugo were able to stand in front of one another with a slight breeze blowing that made it look like a decent showdown.

"Hmm... You really look violent..." Coji muttered, seeing Bakugo's outfit. "But I don't care." He said. He had to admit, he was a bit worried but something in him was pushing him to stand in front of him without relenting. Mark made a fake "DING" sound with his mouth, signaling the beginning of the "match".

Coji reved himself up, ready to show off his quirk at the opportune moment Bakugo did something he could retaliate. He was new to everything when it came to learning hero stuff compared to Bakugo but he felt all the training in the world could be overcome with a little natural talent and a way of thinking that wasn't the norm thrown in. He hoped.

"Hey, don't push, come on," Tamia whined, squirming as Mark pushed him outside, blushing the entire time. He hated being touched, even more when it was on any part of him that was clothed. Still, soon they were outside, and the entire class with them.

Tamia moved to the front next to the others, and kept a close eye on Bakugo, wanting to make sure that he didn't try anything funny, or actually try to hurt the kid. They were supposed to be teachers after all and show a good example. He watched Bakugo and the kid get into position, and braced himself, ready to run in and interfere if Bakugo tried to play too "rough."

Kicking the dirt behind him, Bakugo smirked and said, "Just remember, you agreed to this brat. Don't go crying off to Mommy afterwards if you don't like what happens. I'm not going to kill ya, but this will hurt a bit," He warned, before snapping his fingers, causing sparks to come out. Then, he jumped up in the air, and collecting the sweat in his palm, he threw a small fireball straight at Coji's feet. It would be easy to dodge, but would get the kid to move around some. He couldn't throw the explosion straight at the kid's chest, that would kill him. And he had a feeling that the school might not like it if he killed someone they were supposed to be mentoring.

Alex's eyes grew wide at that, and smirked, suspecting Bakugo was taking it easy on Coji. He'd regret that soon enough.
