X-Men: Magical Halloween Wager
Jubilee has gotten tired of Hank both not willing to help her with varies Halloween matters for the kids still young enough to reasonable trick-or-treat as true there are even young adults that trick-or-treat but she frowns on those anyway the other reason is how Hank can't accept anything Supernatural as not being something of science at all but Hank is damn stubborn in the belief anything Supernatural is just 'Something modern earth science just doesn't understand yet and till then its supernatural' Despite Hank having seen plenty of stuff that should prove to the man somethings science never will understand and can't be anything but Supernatural
''Hank whats your problem? Why not help the kids for Halloween ? For most of them this is one of the few times of year they can blend in and enjoy being in public without all the bigotry and hate they normally get'' Jubilee was aggravated true she tended to point out this is one of the few times of year the kids at the X-manor can enjoy being out and about without any bigotry and hate directed at them but that never workds that's why she asked what is Hanks issue on this time of year

Hank had offered in rebuttal that Halloween wasn't a national holiday so it wasn't something that was required to be celebrated. In fact the best thing about Halloween was the day after when the candy went on clearance. Hank has always been stubbornly been a disbeliever about things like magic and spirits and such. Even with all the weirdness that Beast's seen he's always done his best to explain it away as some science that simply wasn't yet understood. Not Magic.
"If the kids want some candy I can go buy them some candy." Hank noted to Jubilee, seeing little reason to really spend time in the childish pursuit of candy. It was clear there would possibly have to be some arm twisting or something stronger to get him to play along. "I suppose you could have some sort of point there." Which was significant praise from Hank that few rarely heard from him. "But why not just have a Halloween party for the kids rather than begging for candy?"

''You just don't get it do you?''Jubilee had thrown her arms up in frustration her emotions over Hanks ignorance of why the kids here love October and get so excited the closer to Halloween it gets till its common enough to see kids and then adults going around early in costumes getting to her as her gloves melted for her powers reacting to her mood so strong and arcing around like a scene from a old horror movie'' Its not the candy these kids love about this month let alone Halloween its the fact they can go about nearly anywhere without hate directed at them nor parents feeling a need to have their kids get away from the so called 'diseased' so the kids don't 'catch' what we have, so they get to interact with other none mutant kids way more then any other time of the year when its October and near Halloween aswell as Halloween, the candy and other stuff is just a bonus to them . But we don't have enough people on staff unless we have the team just be as small as it can to take all the kids out even when we have them taken them for a week in different groups'' Jubilee was worked up that's for sure at Hank. She assumes Hank given where the furball grey up didn't have the level of prejudice these city kids face

Beast perked his brows just a bit in reaction to Jubilee's outburst about what a stubborn adult he was being. "You think I don't understand what it's like to be different?" Beast asked as he gestured to his features. "It's not like I don't understand that aspect of what you're debating. But back in my day I preferred to sit home with a good book... possibly something gothic to fit the atmosphere." It actually sounded like Hank hadn't really done the whole Trick 'R Treating thing.
Beast's brows quirked some as Jubilee actually seemed to launch into lecture mode and wasn't sure what to say. "Any parents who think you can catch being a mutant from another child are clearly not well educated. Maybe we should hand out pamphlets with the candy about the facts of mutation for kids and their parents." Hank couldn't encourage the mansion getting egged more unless he also recommended handing out Chick Tracts or Toothbrushes to the kids.
Hank listened to Jubilee's complaints about needing more staff available to deal with taking all the kids out for Halloween. Hank paused and stroked his chin. He had made plans to stay in that night but now Jubilee was making it sound like his inclusion was important to ensure the night wasn't a huge hassle. "I don't know..." Hank rubbed his chin and waited for Jubilee to offer something to convince him. It would have to be something to spark his curious nature.

''Are you loco in the coco? ''Jubilee nearly screeched at the pamphlet matter as her power reacted again '' Do you even realize what handing out something like that would likely cause the mansions state to be in let alone the defenses would do to mostly innocence vandals not truly attacking ?'' Jubilee seeing Hanks expression facepalmed '' God its likes I'm dealing with a clueless person in their 90's on what not to do if you don't want broken windows, graffiti, egged and TP'd houses among other things on Halloween . Really those pamphets ideals are about as provoking as Chick Tracks and Toothbrushes handed out to kids on Halloween ''Jubilee was really at the end of her rope here
''You know what lets have a wager whoever wins picks the losers costume when heading out and the loser has to Trick-or-Treat if its a tie or both fail then we have to both be on the receiving end of the losing fate'' Jubilee said plainly

"Loco... in the... coco?" Hank asked as he quirked a brow at Jubilee and just looked rather confused at this particular saying. "I'm sorry I left my 'Mallrat to English' dictionary in my other X-Speedo." Hank quipped as he watched her freak out at him just a bit never really having seen her like this before. "Jeez... okay if it means that much to you fine. I'll agree to your wager if you'll stop screeching at me."
Hank paused though when he realized she hadn't named the terms of the contest as of yet. "So what is the competition we're going to engage in? Physical Trails? Trivia Contest? Name your game." Hank cracked his knuckles just a little bit. "Just name your game. Unless you'd like to give someone else the honor to make it fair?" Hank looked around the mansion hoping someone would have a suggestion for them.

''I basically rhythmically asked if you had lost your mind or went Crazy'' Jubilee remarked but then frowned at Hank '' I'm not stupid enough to pick physical trial set up and Trivia that can be fair or unfair depending on the topics '' Jubilee said on the as she thought'' I know Morph would be the best to pick on the bet, how much of his real scent does he keep when transformed ? I know his energy signature either gets unclear or almost completely match's who or what he transforms into''

"I'm fine in the mental area... I assure you. I just don't understand the fuss." Clearly Hank was a little bit out of touch with the fun of Hallowen so losing this would be in his own best interest. At least that's possibly what Jubilee was thinking anyway. "I'm not sure what you're suggesting. Are you implying we do a scavenger hunt for Morph or something?" Hank wondered as he perked a brow at Jubilee. "Or I guess you could call it Hide and Seek." Hank chuckled just a bit and stretched and cracked his knuckles.

''First answer the question. We need this bet to be as fair as we can so its a possibility if his scent is different enough . But if not then we would surely have him choice what we do for the bet in both cases he has to agree of course ''Jubilee explained on the matter but then smirked abit '' As for looking for Morph it could be either given how his powers work you know''

"Morph doesn't really have a scent of his own. But he can mask that by wearing something of who he's impersonating I believe. Much easier for him to imitate an object rather than a person since objects don't tend to have such pronounced scents as people do." Hank went into a somewhat detailed explanation on him.
"Though if you're looking to play 'Hide the Morph' we could hinder my sense of smell through numerous means. Such as an overpowering scent to block my sense of smell." Hank noted as he crossed his arms with a bit of a smug grin. "Or nose plugs. Or by having a telepath do the same with a small temporary suggestion."
