Jubilee had finally got Hank out of that damn lab he tends held up in and her worry for Hank had went from the type a person who respects and cares about someone shifted to disappear and female care towards a friend that is not talking proper care of themselves and having emotional problems had went in the place of the other worry. ''You aren't doing much of anything till we got you cared for properly and better so you and me are on vacation till then. '' Jubilee said firmly as they headed to her call that she had with Wolverines help built . It was honestly X-23's that got Wolvirine to help her build it when the man had times to help s a simple birthday gift thing seeing as some parts of car and car building Jubilee can't do anything on without danger to herself and others thanks to her powers '' Just think what your parents would say and do seeing you in the state you are in ,its best we handle this now before they do ''

It's been obvious that something has been wrong with Beast. While he always tended to retreat into his lab and throw his focus on his work... he's never been anti-social. But as of late he's been a bit grumpy and even giving Wolverine a run for the money when it comes to being grouchy. Hank had put up quite a fit at the idea of an intervention when people told him they were worried about him. But it was clear they just wanted what was best for him. Though he regretted giving them that inch when Charles had put him in Jubilee's capable hands. She had done wonders getting Charles to relax and even dragged him out skating during the period when he had regained the use of his legs. So of course it only made sense it was Jubilee.

Hank just rubbed his temples as he followed Jubilee while she was carrying his duffle bag to their ride to whatever adventure that Jubilee has cooked up. Hank adjusted the clothes that she'd picked up for him for their vacation... since neither his X-Speedo or a stuffy suit would really be a good choice for what Jubilee had in mind. "Are you sure I can't just bribe you with something to just say we did?" Hank offered with a bit of a shake of his head. "I don't know... why don't you tell me? You seem to be taking a page out of my Mom's child care book already. I think you missed the memo that I'm the adult here young lady." Hank wagged a finger at her.

Which on Jubilees part she had over that time started to see Hank as more like a child that can't handle things proper when it comes to things like emotions atleast as Hank has had random smaller bursts in the past but this is the worst he has been ever to her knowledge. Atleast Wolverine has a consistent method and her friend X-23 has talked about that hidden gentle parental side Wolverine has for Laura . There was even hints from Laura A.K.A X-23 that was clear enough that Wolverine has babied her somewhat and still does when one of them has a bad time or both need some emotional relief. Granted the babying started as part deprograming her Weapon X bull she went through, path therapy to work through everything and part bonding with a dash of Wolverine having not willing to admit it had some needless aswell as senseless feelings of guilt and feeling like a deadbeat father . Yet neither of the last feelings was logical but Wolverine had them and the two kinda enjoy the set up they got going in dynamics know

Regardless on the matter Jubilee had make sure to get some rather casual but rather airy clothes for Hank to wear when needed . Truse he doesn't need any right now but most places won't allow others in stories without clothes unless you are talking about a nudist colony then only select reasons you can go places while clothed . She still is rather confused why she was put in charge of Hank as Sabertooth would be better suited for this kind of thing or tleast that man tagging along but both cases was shot down,something about Sabertooth going through a rough spot and best to keep the man from Hank till its over.

Then there is the fact she had little clue what the fuck to do as she tended to be in charge of the kiddies in the X-Men who get homesick and miss their parents but can't go home nor see the parents for varies reasons

At best she sorta is winging things at this point ''Depends on the reason for the Bribe and I doubt you'd even be able to get or do for me what I want for such a bribe '' Jubilee was forward on the matter

''Oh you know very well what they would as they are your parents after all''Jubilee remarked on the reply to her first rhythmical question '' Who cares who the adult is here? You lately after all seem to be acting far too much like the kids I care for we have here, infact the last year you have seemed to become practically a overgrown cub with how you have been for the longest time''

If Hank was entirely aware of how Jubilee saw him... he'd probably be even more 'childish' about this for lack of a better term. Hank was out of the loop about some of the things that Jubilee was aware of... but then since he spent most of the time i the lab he was a bit out of the loop about a lot of things. Especially about what Jubilee had in store... since she claimed it was going to be a "Surprise".

"Well since you're in charge and it's your wheels... I suppose you're driving." Hank made his way towards the passenger side door. He had to admit that the clothes Jubilee had picked out were somewhat comfortable though... even if there was a part of him that enjoyed running around in his "Undies" as the X-Spedo.

Hank perked a brow at Jubilee's curious comments about what she'd want as a bribe. "I don't think I want to know what kind of weird depravity you would require as a bribe." Hank had misjudged Jubilee's comments thinking she wanted something weird. He was unaware how much she enjoyed dealing with the X-Kids.

Hank's other brow went up when Jubilee started reading him the riot act and taking charge though. That certainly surprised him.... especially calling him an overgrown cub. "I beg your pardon? Overgrown cub? That's rich... given I'm not the one who's too big for their britches right now." Hank noted as he crossed his arms and stuck out his tongue a bit. Jubilee did have a way of bringing out his childish side.

''And if you get too fussy I have some special features to handle those moments''Jubilee said in a flippant manner on the car matter as well she had with Wolverines help got some parts from the destroyed sentinels they have keep around partially on Hanks desire , partially do to the pieces and metal from those things have uses for then and lastly to keep them from the wrong hands. Still Wolverine helped her retro fit the items almost seamlessly into her car.

Sure the set up was mainly meant to help pick up radio signals,get Wi-Fi,wireless tv for news if needed ,a way to send messages if her devices get trashed and afew other mundane reasons. But some items was retro fitted into the car meant for in this case to handle bad misbehaving mutants as lets face it her powers aren't the best at dealing with a variety of mutant kids powers , Hers has more offensive or entertaining set up with afew utility purposes in the mix

''What ? You think I'm some perverted sexual deviant ? ''Jubilee said abit loud misjudged Hanks remark on that so she shocking Hank afew times enough that Hanks fur now is reminiscent of a classic cartoon character who got shocked and hair arcing with energy set up

'' That's for buying into the age old sterotype of teenagers to 25 or so ages are all perverts , At best most art dirty minded in jokes and humors.''Jubilee remarked on the matter as she then frowned abit at Hank.'' I want to be roommates with Laurel and both of us in charge of caring for the X-kids most of the time but most of the adults deems us being youths don't see us as suitable for being in charge of them ,caring for them and seems enough think because of our age myself and Laurel would fool around when along with each other when they are wrong''

'' I'm impressed you went the high road though and not brought up my issue in this case so you get ''Jubilee removed from her jacket a store-bought latte type of drink that are those self stable in a container ready to drink kind. Seems Jubilee has a reward system for Hank now then again it kinda makes sense she'd do things or reward others for not bringing it up in matters as the older X-Men aside from Charles has a habit of that . Atleast Magento who flips back and forth from good to evil and loops mainly bringing it up in a way a parent does to a child that shares a issue their own child does as Magento does have a child with bedwetting issues in this time and a older version from a alternate reality that seems to pop up from time to time has never fully had bladder control while awake. Which is why Magento tends to bring it up for what best diapers to get for the girls at times

"Fussy?" Beast asked with just a tinge of insult to his voice. As if he didn't believe that he could be considered fussy about things. "A scientist is never 'Fussy', young lady." The very idea made it sound like a child who was picky about eating his vegetables or something. Hank believed such behavior was beneath him, even if he was on occasion rather picky about certain things. Especially when it came to guilty pleasures like his love for snack cakes like Twinkies. Fussy indeed.

Hank's eyes went a bit wide when he got shocked for his suggestive comments about what he thought Jubilee was suggesting. Hank coughed a few times afterwards and shook his head in surprise that he was shocked for being bad. Though rather than get angry Hank ended up frowning at Jubilee's words. "I'm sorry... I wasn't aware. I would think you would have been proven you're self capable of taking care of the X-Babies." Hank offered, though slipped in the somewhat derogatory term for the younger X-Kids that some adults used.

Of course, Jubilee was somewhat right. Girls did tend to mature faster than boys. But the idea that she was more mature of the pair of them and he was 'Cubbish' made him scoff just a little bit with a light roll of his eyes. "So is this Charles's idea of you proving you're mature enough to take care of the kiddies? Good lord does even Professor X think I'm acting like a 'Cub' or something?" Hank grunted.

Hank didn't even realize that he was being 'bribed' or 'rewarded' for being a good boy when Jubilee puled out one of the latte drinks that he was particularly fond of. Hank reached out and took it from her with a warm smile and even a soft purr... it seemed that Jubilee knew exactly how training Hank worked. "Thank you Jubilee. Sorry that we got off on the wrong foot. I know you're only trying to help me de-stress and such. I'm just a bit grumpy about my routine being disrupted."

Hank opened the passenger door and climbed into Jubilee's ride. This was going to be an interesting trip for sure. Not that Hank was aware of just how interesting it was going to be. But Hank had reacted exactly how Jubilee likely had expected... like the cub she'd accused him of being. And this was akin to giving a fussy cub their bottle to calm they down when putting them down for a nap.

Jubilee rolled her eyes on how Hank to her sound like a petulant child would who disagree on practically principle alone as she knows Hank is fussy but if Hank won't admit or doesn't see it she won't go on abit it as it'd be useless to

''Hey fuzzbutt do you realize how that term X-babys has went from enduring when it used to just be used on the adults that get deaged to a pretty much derogatory slur for most younger members called that ?''Jubilee questioned with a growl after Hank had mentioned the wrong foot matter as lets face it Hank on inner team aswell as mansion/school terms, slangs and slurs is very very outdated and out of the loop . Mainly for Hank seems to not take note of them changing or not caring to keep it in mind if not something else

''If not I should probably give you what has became a mandatory for new comers and people who has been gone for so long a printed out book on what is our own little community's terms, slangs and slurs given X-babys and other words you seem to not realize have changed in this community even if most aren't seen as real ones by any official language. ''Jubilee remarked and she is right Hank is rather clueless on the terms he tends to use aren't seen as okay by most of the members anymore and when they try to say something Hank doesn't listen more focused on other things,atleast once he learns the topic is about a lot of there makeshift community language that had kinda just happened over the years with one or two words and has sense grown into a niche little sub language sorta like how 'nerd and geek language ' , 'l33t speech' , 'internet speech ' and other varies niche little sub languages had spawned over time and grown .

''As for your likely rhythmical question hum I doubt it, chances are its because outside of who might aswell be called your boyfriend'' Jubilee is of course referring to Sabertooth as true both males aren't dating or anything its still easy to tell they have feelings for each other and hang out more then just male friends or just female friends does and have done things that are almost love interest things.'' I am the closest to you plus I volunteered to do something to help you aswell''

Its true Jubilee had expected Hank to react just like he had but Jubilee rolled her eyes again over the remark she was given on the grumpy reason as that's the type of reason that cubs A.K.A little kids has for being so grumpy well that and being sick


Come to think of kids and grumpy people Jubilee had to wonder about Magneto as the man has been afew days over do to pick his girl up. True ' Magnet head ' or ' Magneto,the master of magnet ' as Jubilee has taken to at this point playfully referring to the man as true the guy can be a Super villain but the guy after his first few failings as a parent got his shit together atleast in terms of being a parent and has been a very good parent to his current youngest child a girl that is adorable and tries to be extremely friendly with everyone but when the girls main parent was found out being Magneto well lets just say the girl hasn't had much luck granted she has the oddest quirk the girl isn't exactly a mutant persay as the powers are mystical in nature and she has no active X-gene reading as of yet .

Yet Jubilee can't help but worry about the man do to him being a leader of genosha which is loaded with mutants so a lot of goverments are tense as all hell over the place being almost nothing but mutants when you look at the population read outs anyway its way more mutants then the standard baseline humans . While another reason is all the people Magneto has pissed off over the years for one reason or another ,the fact even good figures of powers are killed by either some stupid person, insane person, paid to do it or just holding a grudge. While she is worried what will happen if Magento is killed or captured what that girl would do .

True Hank and most of the X-Men has no clue she is has been babysitting the child of Magneto's at all aside from the ones that matter Oh and the X-kids but most of the adults don't listen at all

''Sorry if you pick up any smells Hank , I do the best I can to get unpleasant scents destroyed for those with enhanced or animal like sense of smell to not have to worry about such odors, but given my powers somehow resist and most of the time negate affects on me when our timeline is disrupted I have quite afew times lived in my car while on the run from either the X-Men or varies groups ''Jubilee offered as a apology as it seems Hank was catching the scent of what must be urine that she somehow failed to completely get rid of from her last situation that happened to her and she hasn't had the chance to get someone who has such scent levels to check if her attempt worked

Of course if Jubilee were to voice her thoughts on Hank's stubborn habit of disagreeing on practically everything then no doubt he'd be disagreeing on that as well. Sometimes with Hank it was wiser to pick your battles. At least Jubilee knew how Hank ticked so was able to get the upper hand by being subtle. Or with a little help from a friendly telepath who'd given her a bit of an advantage.

"It originally was used to refer to the first 'New Mutants'. I believe Shadowcat coined it when Xavier felt she needed to step down from the adult team to the teenaged recruits." Hank corrected Jubilee, though of course it's taken on a life of it's own since then. Though the younger kids certainly still hated to get saddled with it even if it was a term used behind their backs by the senior X-Men at times.

"There's a book now?" Hank questioned with a perk of his brow about the fact there was actually printed material explaining all of this. "Is there pictures?" Hank chuckled just a bit to himself as he settled into the passenger seat and opened up his latte to take a drink... before Jubilee mentioned the gossip about him and Sabretooth. Hank nearly choking on his latte and coughing heavily as he spilled some of the latte on the front of the shorts that that Jubilee had bought for him. He wondered if other people gossiped about him and Sabretooth.

Hank waved his hand a bit while he tried to stop coughing as Jubilee was apologizing for any scents that he might be catching from her vehicle. "It's fine." He offered when finally able to stop coughing and sit down his latte in the cup holder on the dash. "The scent doesn't really bother me... I deal with diapers all the time from some of our accident prone students. In fact the baby powder scent is rather pleasant." Hank offered with a sheepish smile... as there was just something about baby powder that had a rather soothing aspect to it in Hank's brain.

''Point is its taken on a new term that's not okay to be said in general , so whatever it used to be doesn't matter in a sense unless its say for example its in context for the time it was used or put in like say some period piece to match the period the piece is depicting or say a old song.'' Jubilee retorted giving a version of something Hank once told her but she used this in the case of how words meaning can evolve not medical terms and the like . Therefore using Hanks logical process against him in this case.

''That proves it you need one thankfully for us I keep a supply of the most up-to-date book version in my car ''Jubilee produced from what must be a mini-pocket space device a rather big and most likely somewhat heavy for those not with abnormal strength ''Honestly on the pictures yeah there is afew but only for the most confusing ones ''

''Yeah its a nice scent but well lets just say last temporal time distortion seemed most mutants till they mastered there powers tended to have no control whatsoever, that's why I was worried you see ''Jubilee remarked basically saying her last experience meant she was stuck in diapers 24/7 in that situation till everything was fixed though that would explain why Hank heard crinkling from Jubilee for a week that one time no matter if it was day or night she wasn't risking some holdover effect from that distortion being on her.

''No first I was thinking check out some yard sales and estate sales as we head towards our destination as I recall you said those used to be fun for you finding things that you could to put in modern terms nerd or geek out over and the old finds you would discover ''Jubilee said as she started up her car and likely interesting to Hank as he never has been in Jubilees car the radio is tuned to a radio station be all rights it shouldn't be able to pick up even if it was in Japan let alone the fact its getting it clear as can be as if you was close to the place its being transmitted from. That may or may not bare asking about as they are extremely far from Japan

"Okay, Okay." Hank held up his hands to Jubilee as if in surrender. "I give up. I'll try to watch my mouth going forward. Before you feel the need to wash my mouth out with soap or something." Hank teased just a little bit as Jubilee still seemed to be treating him a bit like an unruly child at the moment which was both parts frustrating as well as amusing on some level. At least to Hank anyway.

Hank picked at the damp shorts he was wearing from spilling the latte a bit... as Jubilee produced an oversized book from somewhere in the car. "Oh my stars and garters." Hank looked at the large book with a critical eye. "You give this to new recruits to read? That's absurd." Hank poked the large book with a finger claw. "How about I just promise to do my best? I thought this was a 'Vacation'?"

"I'm kind of glad I'm not outside these temporal time distortions like you seem to be. I'm rather set in my routine... I'd rather not have to alter it everytime something crazy happens to fall into my lap." Hank offered with a warm smile. "Heh. Sounds like an interesting phase shift. Well at least I would be safe... I mastered my powers at a very young age. Perk of being born X-Gene Active." Hank noted as he puffed out his chest just a bit proudly at his early accomplishments.

"My Mother used to drag me to them... so I made the best of it. Seems only fitting given you're already taking pages from her book. I should keep the two of you far apart... it might be bad news for the world. Or at least for me." Hank chortled to himself. "Well... you're the boss here. Don't blame me if I decide to nap while you drive though." Hank noted with a chuckle as he settled back in his seat just a little bit and glanced at the radio. "Interesting sound system you have installed."
