Rotom Haunts A Factory (Private for MingleMonster and ZillaSmasher)
Abigale March had just left the New Pokemon Daycare (or NPoD as the locals called it) after dropping off a few of her Pokemon. She was planning to cross the ocean soon and didn't want to bring them along, both of her Pokemon being the fire type... It was better this way, and she knew a few of the people who worked at the NPoD, some of which she went to school with some time ago before she moved.
"Haaaa.... I'm sure Sils and Sye will be fine, they've both been so close anyways that they wont get bored in each other's company." She thought aloud as she walked through some wooded area a little off the main route - She always loved to trek the unknown, it always lead to inexplicably lucky finds like full unused potions laying in plain sight on the sides of the roads or the occasional bug catcher who was itching to go with his entire party of cocoon Pokemon. She giggled a bit as she remembered one such encounter with a kind lady who had such a cute little teddy bear of a Pokemon... "Whoa~!" She stumbled, stopping herself from going over a ledge in her daydream haze. It was just a short ledge only far enough that she could jump down, but had she gone off without knowing she could have landed wrong and hurt herself... She had an embarrassing thought of landing face first off the ledge, and the resulting chuckling turned into genuine giggles, getting over it pretty well.
Following suit, she got over the ledge as well, hopping down with a bit of a "umff" as she landed. It was a bit further than she expected... But she'd be okay. Now she just had to get through the thicket ahead of her...
...Oh shoot, this was a rough place to be. Wispy, intertwined branches and vines blocked her path and the craggy terrain around her kept her from going around - She'd have to get one of her Pokemon to cut her a path. She reached into her bag to fish around, her face growing pale with another embarrassed expression. "I forgot to bring any Pokemon!?" She yelped as she realized she hadn't even collected one other Pokemon from her box to bring with her, mentally kicking herself. It was something so basic for a Trainer - It was almost unheard of to be walking around without any Pokemon! Even for normal people, nearly everyone had a Pokemon... And certainly if they were out in someplace this dense they'd need something to work with, for protection alone...
Looking back at the ledge, she knew she couldn't get back up there to dash back to the NPoD and grab one of her reserve Pokemon... And the gravity of the situation started to sink in. She couldn't descend the crags, she couldn't climb the hill and she couldn't get through that impassible brush - She was stuck! She started to panic a little as she looked at her only other option... Her DexMap told her that there was a way back up to the NPoD, but the route was an old unused trainer trail through some dense woods, and she was sure that it was riddled with Pokemon. She felt like she was out of options, closing her DexMap with a heavy sigh... "Ugh, "Absent Abi" does it again..." She groaned at herself, slinking off in the direction of the old trail with rock-bottom confidence, so much so that she remembered her old school mock name, earned for being such a clumsy, forgetful girl...

The path Abi journeyed down eventually opened up into a large clearing, the moon illuminating a dilapidated building. At one point the building might've been colorful and inviting. But the years had not been kind to the exterior. The paint was chipped and faded, with only a few small patches of pastel colors breaking through. The roof looked to have a great many holes in it and the main doors were barely held together. It wasn't much, but Abi could at least take shelter for the night.

This path around sure was something... She felt like she'd been walking for hours by the time she spotted the building, the moon having come out over the clouds. "That's an early moon." She thought, looking up into the sky for a moment as she stood still, seeing how it cast light over the building ahead of her. "I guess... I missed the sunset." She sighed, looking around her immediate vicinity. The woods were definitely thick enough to obscure the light, and although it still didn't feel like nightfall it seemed that'd be something she'd just have to accept.
"I wonder... What this used to be?" She said as she looked up at the building. It was so old and junky looking - Yet this poor building looks like it had a bright past, or at least she assumed so from the faded colors across what was left of it's exterior decor. For all she knew it was some sort of laundromat, or perhaps it was some rich noble's... Something or other. She didn't want to put much thought into it, realizing she'd been standing there for nearly ten minutes just eating away at the flittering light with her thoughts. She continued down the trail, eyes glued to her DexMap as she left the vicinity... The map seemed absent of the building or any information on it, which she found kinda eerie but mostly a little frustrating, since it was always so detailed and precise.
Shortly down the trail Abi would find herself huddled a bit among even darker branches... The path was becoming less path-like and more of a meander through darkness; something like what Abi would have seen out of a scary picture book, the kind you read at a slumber party with a flashlight... She could hear things moving around her, and she knew that nocturnal Pokemon usually were a little more tenacious and bold than the critters and scavengers of the day. She was never a night person, and without her Pokemon she felt so alone... So ill prepared.
She kept on through the thicket of trees with hopes that she wasn't walking in circles when she heard a shuffling a few feet in front of her... Was it a Pokemon? So close? Maybe... Maybe her repel wore off. She carefully tried to pull her small bag off of her shoulder and poke around for another, but with each sound she made she felt like whatever it is was sizing her up... She took a few steps back, zipping her bag closed again in hopes that she could just walk in the other direction, when she heard a large twig snap beneath her heel. She saw two eyes catch the light for a brief moment, causing her own to grow into worried saucers. Abi panicked and turned on her heel, dashing off in the opposite direction - Which she knew what a terrible idea.
"Don't run, stupid! Running just invites them to chase, it's instinctual!" She kicked herself mentally as she sprinted away, just going in whatever direction appared to be the most clear...
...Into a small lit section of the road stepped a little Houndour, looking rather confused as to why the large noisy figure ran off like that, sniffing the ground a bit before raising it's head in a tilt. "Rouuu?" It whined in confusion, watching the figure clamor into the distance...

Abi's trajectory took her right back to the old building, which seemed a lot more inviting due to there being 'predators' in the woods. Inside the factory, a pair of eyes opened for the first time in years as she heard some scuffling outside.

It seemed like everything was rustling around her now that she was sprinting, which only made her want to sprint harder. She can't remember the last time she had to book it like this! Maybe it was back before she fell ill...
Abi had always been a fragile and sickly girl her entire life, remaining small and stunted well passed her adolescence and growth spurt stages of life. Her mother was worried about this, but never let it quash her daughter's spirit since she had such a passion for adventure and an academic profile that far exceeded her practical aptitude.
Though at the age of fifteen, Abi was bedridden with a strange toxin-related sickness she contracted from a Pokemon, and i she was meek and sickly before then she was significantly worse off after that. She never saw the Pokemon that got her, but she was sure she'd encroached on it's territory or something that day... She was just hunting for a seat, and had chosen to sit down by a a few rocks when she felt a sharp pain in her leg. She limped home with numbness and collapsed on her doorstep, her mother finding her minutes later. A trip to a Pokemon Center then lead to a flight to a proper hospital, and a few days later she was back at home... But barely able to move. She was homebound for a few weeks, and then from there was only able to go out of her house with an escort. This went on for months that became years, until late into Abi's 17th year when she made a full recovery thanks to the development of a new miracle medicine, though honestly that in itself was miraculous because she was only able to take it as an experiment due to it's price; the R&D team for this recovery medicine wanted to see what it would do if a human took some of it, since it was mainly designed for Pokemon...
What did this do for Abi? Well nothing really... Save for further stunt her growth. Her physical form was still weak, though she'd learned how to do what she could with her limited stamina. Really the worst part about her sickly life and experience was that even to this day people mistook her for a young girl despite being eighteen, going on nineteen in a few months... Sometimes it was just outright insulting - She's been mistaken for both a youngster and an elementary student on multiple occasions! ...Why was she remembering all of this now?
!!!
Abi flashed back to reality from her blatant stupor, having lost herself in her thoughts again mid sprint. She realized at the last second that she was about to run headlong into a tree and banked to the left, nearly tripping over some of the exposed roots! She almost feel again, but managed to turn that into at least a soft duck and roll, tumbling through some leaves before she kicked her legs up and let them fall back down, laying out in a sort of leaf-angel position. She sat up and panted in a W-Sit position, feeling rather embarrassed. "Ugh, I did it again!!" She yelled at herself, her face flush with her frustration. A rustling in the distance from the trail she took bringing her back to reality, she shot up quickly onto her feet and got into her bag - She may not have her precious Pokemon partners, but at the least she could use some Trainer tools!
*Rustle Rustle* Her bag went and she dug through it, eventually finding what she wanted. - She pulled out two things, one Pokemon Doll she'd kept around for such an occasion and one Dusk Ball. She never thought she'd use the Dusk Ball since she hated the dark, but if she ever ran into a Pokemon in the night she didn't want it to get mad after breaking free from a capture attempt and try to eat her or something... She first pulled a small ribbon tied around the Pokemon Doll that caused it to take it's proper shape and form, a fairy type Pokemon wearing a cute innocent expression popping forth with a squeak. She admired the doll in her hands as she held it, looking in the direction of the clearly still approaching Gengar, or Mightyena or... Whatever horrible Pokemon was chasing her, ready to throw it and bait their distraction. But as she raised her arm to toss the toy, it let out another squeak and she looked up at it... Suddenly not very keen to do so. She cradled it in her arms, looking into it's cute face... She actually found herself squeezing it a few times and giving it a hug, so infatuated with the toy that she couldn't bear to discard it. Then she heard what sounded like a low growl mixed with more rustling and her panic returned, causing her to wield the Dusk Ball into it's proper size and pitch it like a softball in the general direction of her pursuer with a shriek before turning around and dashing towards... The building? Wait, had she made a full circle back to this old building without even realizing it? She didn't think long on that before she passed through into it, having to really work to get the door open with one hand, her other clutching the stuffed toy she now carried firmly against her body.
Closing the door behind her made her jump, as it was far more ready to slam shut from the inside than it was to open from the outside... Just before she found herself in darkness within the lobby's interior, she'd notice a brightly colored sign on the wall illuminated by moonlight, reading "Welcome to the Pokemon Daycare!" ...Had she read that right? She had just dropped her Pokemon off at Daycare before she came here... Perhaps if that was the New Pokemon Daycare, then this was the old one? She didn't think much more on that though as she stood in the lobby, now almost entirely enveloped in darkness. She clutched her toy close and squeaked it a few times unintentionally, finding herself shaking a bit... She really wished she had some light, and started to scramble to get her Pokedex out so she could maybe use it as a flashlight.

The eyes looked down at the girl who had just entered her domain, a faint giggle escaping her lips. She seemed to be the perfect person to keep her company for the next....decade or so. The Rotom giggled again and sunk into the control panel of the factory, turning everything on that was still working. Unfortunatly that didn't mean the lights, but the sound of whirring machinery around her was like music to her ears. She directed the mechanical arms to her newest charge, seeing as the girl wasn't even close to dressed properly.

"Hmmmmmm, how do I always get into these sorts of pickles!" Abi whined as she fidgeted around for her Pokedex, managing ultimately to find it buried in the bottom of her bag. It usually had it's own specific pocket, but during all of her adventuring in the woods she'd managed to somehow get it shoved somewhere else. She'd finally stopped panting and controlled her breath by now, but she still felt exhausted... She really needed to work out more, or at least learn how to run better. She managed to get some light from the Pokedex to sort of light her way, and she had a look around the lobby a bit... Sure enough, the sign read "Welcome to the Pokemon Daycare!" Just as she'd read earlier... But why was it abandoned? Did something happen or was it just too far out of the way?
She had no idea, but she also didn't figure she wanted to know too bad, too preoccupied with finding a place to set up for the night. She had some snacks and water, so she should be good to bunker down at least until there was enough light outside for her to feel safe, and she was sure she had at least a couple more repels. Wait.... Repels!? Why didn't she think of that, she could have used them back there to ward off her pursuers! She thought, sighing a bit... Today just wasn't her day. She should call her mom sometime, maybe she could talk with her a bit and clear her head.
Just as she thought that, she heard some whirring and clanging coming from what sounded like all around her, causing her to jump a little bit and move her Pokedex to shine light right in front of her, her other arm pulling the stuffed toy closer to her body, causing it to let out a prolonged squeak. She approached the direction of a bunch of noise and looked about, but she didn't see anything out of the ordinary, just some dusty low reading tables and an old counter that was a bit rotted. The sound was unmistakable though, it sounded like big industry in small scale with conveyor belts and pistons, and yet after she got over the initial shock she realized it wasn't all that loud.
"Umm.... Okay? This place has power...?" She said aloud, as if she'd get an answer. She squeaked the toy a few more times as she stepped forward, walking and squeaking not being in sync with one another but she seemed to be hugging it for comfort. She approached a door that had long since lost it's sign, pressing it open a bit to peak inside, but it turned out what she was looking into was quite a bit more open than that - So much so that the tiny light from her Pokedex wasn't going to do her any favors in figuring out the room. She stepped out from behind the door and meandered in a bit, a little frightened... She felt a presence all around and above her, like something was there with her... "U-Uhhmm....." She squeaked, maintaining her stance for a moment.

Once Abi had meandered far enough into the factory, Rotom smiled and picked her up with the mechanical hands. The hand played with her a little bit, giving her a swat to the butt before plopping her on the conveyer belt that lead to her new home. Another giggle escaped her lips as the hands restrained her on the belt, strapping her down by her wrists and ankles. It wouldn't do if her baby girl fell off he belt and got herself a booboo.

Abi slowly wandered inwards, the door she'd passed through slowly closing behind her... Which she convinced herself was a draft at work. She couldn't see much from where she stood but she had to stop herself from tripping over wires or falling over railings a few times, the sound all around her and yet she didn't actually see much moving. Just how big was this place that they could hide all of this noisy equipment out in the open? Even if it was dark, she still expected to be able to get a feel for things. She did notice as she walked that things were at least a tiny bit lit around her, either if that was from all of the lights off of the machines themselves or if her eyes adjusted she wasn't sure... Possibly both.
*Squeak... Squeak* Oh... Isn't there like, a break room or something? Somewhere...." She whined a bit, hoping that her Pokedex's charge lasted long enough to find a place to bunker down. Then she felt hands... Hands!? Before she could shriek or jump out of her socks she felt herself being lifted up, starting to kick and thrash, her hands letting go of her Pokedex and toy, both of which she instantly regretted as she realized not only could she not prise whatever it was from her hips, but she'd just lost her two most comforting items in one silly move. 'Ugh, stupid!' She thought to herself, reaching down to try and get ahold of them... The doll had landed first with a squeak, and then let out another following one when the Pokedex landed atop it, clamoring to the floor afterwards with a few sharp shuffles. Abi knew Pokedex's were extremely durable, but she was still miffed since she'd never dropped it before - Which was a feat for her, and she was proud of it! She didn't have much time to cry over toppled dex before the hands started to move away with her, causing her to squeak and whine herself, making any and every attempt to get away. "Gah, no no, stop!" She whined, wondering if this was the doing of a Pokemon, or maybe something far more insidious...
The captors started to play with her a bit and she got confused, being moved around sort of like a plaything, then getting a swat across her bottom, making her blush. "Wah, hey! Wh-why?" She complained, wanting to rub her tush since it actually did sting a little... But she couldn't manage much more than a rub or two before she was dropped down atop a very large conveyor belt, the hands seemingly only doing that to give her a shock as they swarmed her again and placed restraints on her. "Wait, what!? No stop, please! Ughmmm-ah!" She whined and pouted, starting to fuss like a child. Her hands were secured together above her head by some sort of large padded cuffs which magnetized to something presumably beneath the rubber of the conveyor she was now laying on, while her feet were both placed in individual cuffs of their own. Her legs were spread and she found herself laying prone... she was incredibly concerned, and too lost for words to complain aloud, despite her welling worry in her gut.

Rotom quickly used another hand to pick up the cute doll that her little girl had dropped, setting it in her baby's crib. The conveyor started to run it's course, lasers carefully cutting Abi's clothes off so that she was ready to be properly dressed. A pacifier gag was also strapped into her mouth, it being bright pink with heart and swirly designs. Up ahead there were what seemed to be stacks of diapers, with most of them being in Abi's size.
