Anya had just finished up being at some meetings and did some paperwork back at her office and was on her way home with some groceries. Normally, she's work from home but sometimes a job requires your presents. She heard rustling around in an alleyway and figured it was just a dog looking for food but no. It was a little boy. What is a boy doing in a dumpster."Um...Sweetheart, what are you doing in a place like this?"She slowly approached the boy.

"Yes!" He cheered flicking the bugs off and going to take a bite

"Um!"That's gross! Anya quickly took the gross bread away and threw it onto the ground."I have something better. She dug through her bag of groceries and pulled out a slice of apple pie the she bought earlier."How about you eat this instead?"

"Hey...I don't live too far. Why don't you come with me? I'll get you washed up, out you in some new clothes and get you some more food to eat."Anya kneeled down to the boy's level.

Food?!" He asked excited. The cleaning and clothes didn't really interest him, he was starving. It was always a hassle for him to find something to eat. The dumpster and restaurants we're nice but sometimes he got chased off, some nights he would go to what he called home hungry.
