Lazuil is currently waiting for her best friend to come home for the start of summer vacation. She looks like she is in her late 30s with brunette hair and baby blue eyes that sometimes get compared to the ocean or jewels like sapphires. The girl had on a skirt with a floral pattern that was mainly a light green in color along with a shirt that was violet with a globe in its center.

However, Lazuil is also not a human, she is a robot, made by her currently away best friend, the 'girl' running on a long-lasting battery, one that doesn't get changed for 10 years at a time. After 5 minutes of waiting on the couch, she lets out a sigh of impatience, "When will she be home?

Ruby Rose was walking home from the university she went to wondering how to break it to her best bot friend that she could not spend summer with her for reasons she could not tell her. She had a secret of her own, she was a little and always fighting off her little space around the ginger of her affection.

As soon as Ruby walks in Lazuil flashes her a warm smile "Glad to see your home from school. Ready to start our summer vacay together? What would we even do first?" The robot woman sounding more like a giddy schoolgirl herself at this moment as she gestures to Ruby to have a seat on the couch if she wanted to.

She does quickly curttail that though as another thought comes into her head"Perhaps she just wants to unwind for a moment, give her a few minutes to herself first."

Ruby took the offered seat on the couch. "About that, Laz. I've got some plans I didn't tell you about yet for most of the summer. It's something I need to do alone" she said meekly, somewhat afraid of her best friend's reaction. "I would love to spend summer with you, but I have to do this alone." she said softly.

She would heave a restrained sigh her way, she had high hopes that the two would spend the entire summer together, the robot not wanting to show any sign of disappointment or sadness. This fails miserably however as Ruby could most likely see the beginnings of tears forming, which she clearly wiped away before trying to regain her composure.

"It's alright Ruby, I'm sorry I seem to have interrupted your plans, " she says with as little emotion as possible trying to play the sudden outpouring off.

"Lazi, please don't cry." Ruby held in a whimper herself, she hated making people sad, especially her Lazuli. "Ruby pulled the girl into a hug and squeezed her tightly "You didn't interrupt anything. I wish I could invite you, but you probably would run for the hills if I tried." Rub sighed, already imagining the rejection.
