Akko albeit not looking or acting the part was nervous as she has been traveling to her brand new Magic School outside of her country of origin … She had applied to the very institute her personal idol attended... All with the hopes of going there as sure people said it'd be wising to go to one in Japan to learn her cultures magic or if going foreign apply to Hogwarts given all the amazing Witchs and Wizards it produced... But she had her heart set on Luna Nova and thus she wouldn't accept anything else … Granted she still was struggling with her English lessons on the chance they would accept a witch from so far away … Thus when she found she was accepted she had a fear she'd be a laughing stock over her English trouble and Japanese mixing together from slips … Granted she'll make friends she is sure of that she just hopes she can make the grades needed to stay in the school

On the other hand , Sucy Manbavaran was a rather skilled Witch and despite her rather pale appearance she could hold her own with a ton of her peers. The Thin Philippines girl may not look all that tough, but under that rather unsettling exterior was a potion master wait to blossom at the rather inpressive school of magic and crafts. Sure she didn't exactly have the same drive or energetic attitude as some of her peers, she still had her own sort of drive with her potion and lotion ingredients. Like a scientist splicing and dicing to see what works, Sucy was determined to maximize her magic output with her own special potions!

Akko on her end was making a fool of herself asking when the bus to Luna Nova would show up and where it would... You see In Japan the magical and mundane are very closely intertwined same with magic and tech work in tandem , where something magical could be right across the street from a computer store and no one thinks oddly about it not because of any spell but because its seen just how things are for the locals given the population and dense locations its been that way for quite alone time... And even before that need to be close to mundane stuff Magical matters wasn't really seen as needed to be hidden because of how intertwined magic and mystical is in their culture … That's why Akko wasn't aware of leyline travel Japan has went to buses and trains to transport to magical places...
