Konosuba- The Cursed Castle (Private with Moemura)

The skies are clear and the sun is beaming down on any open space this day as two Adventurers were making their way towards a forest where the sun was able to provide enough light for people to wander through without having to rely on other methods until night time. One of the adventurers was walking in her trademark blue dress and matching boots. Her name was Aqua, considered to be a Godess by many and a nusiance to others, she was making her way through the forest for one simple reason, treasure.

While doing her regular parlor tricks and soaking in the attention of everyone around her, Aqua had recieved word from a stangeer that she wasn't able to see their face but couldn't help but listen when told about a castle deep in this forest that held plenty of treasure, enough to hopefully satisfy Aqua's needs for the time being without having to resort to doing anything dangerous in her mind. At the time, Darkness, a fellow party member and friend of Aqua's was the only one willing to join her as the others felt like the deal was too good to be true.

"I still don't get what was with the other two. We needed money and I was told this castle should have enough to keep us set for years! We won't have to rely on other jobs and can just relax. A Goddess should never have to work for her things!" Was all that Aqua could rant about, refusing to listen otherwise.

"Well it's their loss," Darkness grinned, "After all, there's all sorts of treasures and other fun surprises that's awaiting in this castle." Though for the blonde dressed in yellow, she was more interested in the "other fun surprises" category. It had been awhile since she was on an adventure and she was hoping that something enjoyable would happen to her.

Of course being the masochist Darkness hoped she would spring a trap and end up chained in a dungeon or be forced into servitude by a perverted demon. The thought of the possibilities made Darkness shudder in pleasure, eager to accept any fate that would await her. All she was eager for the most was to be made nice and helpless, being stuck in some room with no hope of escape. It was something she desired the most of all.

"Oh, I just hope I wind up in the most perverted trap ever created," Darkness grinned, looking more and more eager as they wandered deeper into the forest.

"That just means more for us Darkness, the others will be lucky if I leave them anything!" Aqua was convinced that this would be a cakewalk, more focused on what she hopes is inside the castle, gold coins, jewelery, some object that only exists in legends or Fairy Tales. She was so deep in thought that she didn't realize the rock in front of her as she tripped and fell into the dirt with a shocked scream.

The blue-haired girl stood up with an annoyed scowl on her face, she could not stand her clothing being dirty. "What was that!? Does anyone pay attention where they are go-" She soon bumped into a wall, interupting her thoughts as she unknowingly reached their destination.

Darkness noticed the trip that Aqua made and immediately rushed to her side. Before she could ask if the blunette was okay the goddess was already up on her feat. Then the blonde was treated to the sight of Aqua walking right into the castle wall. Looking upwards Darkness could see that was quite hold, as all the bricks on the wall looked very rough and bumpy from being exposed to the elements. It had the creepy and abandoned look, something that brought a smile to Darkness' face.

"Oooh, looks better than I had imagined," she spoke in delight, "Surely there are plenty of traps waiting for us. I wonder which one to walk into first. Maybe there's a trapdoor leading to the dungeon that I can visit~"

Aqua knew about Darkness's tendancies to enjoy being captured in certain ways to the point where she let out a sigh at the first comment. "Please don't go setting off any traps on purpose Darkness, if things are going to be easy than lets keep it that way. Remember, you're here to protect me first and foremost!" Aqua tried to remind her friend before making her way towards the front of the castle.

"This place does feel pretty gloomy though and a bit creepy, I don't think Megumin would ever want to visit this place!" Were the thoughts gpimg through Aqua's mind, even though her face was a dead goveaway on what she was thinking. "W-Well Darkness? Do you want to lead the way?" She asked, hoping the blonde would take point from here in case any traps did go off, or if they were attacked.

"Right, right, I know that," Darkness assured. She knew that she had to try and contain herself but....if something does get sprung she might as well enjoy the moment. Looking around she saw the large door just several feet away from them. The door looked very old and looked like it wouldn't take much just to get it open. That assumption was proven right as when Darkness pushed on the wooden door light it creaked opened.

"Unlocked," she said, "And it doesn't look like anyone has been here for awhile. You sure there's treasure in here?" Not that she was doubting the quest but if there was some sort of valuable in here then the castle should at least be more fortified. Darkness became worried about that because if there is no treasure than there might be no traps in here. Still, she wasn't ready to give up as long as there was still a chance of excitement for her.

Aqua followed behind Darkness, looking around to see if she could spot anything out of the ordinary before her thoughts were interupted by the sound of one of the doors opening. She turned her head towards where the noise was coming from and could see that Darkness had opened a door in the castle.

"Of course there has to be treasure here! You think someone would lie to a Godess about that?" Aqua was secretly havong some doubts of her own but would rather die than admit that someone had possibly decieved her. "Besides you think that the treasure would be out in the open? That would make things too easy." As the blue-haired women was speaking, she noticed something rather odd in this room, a wooden door, much like the one that Darkness had recently pushed open, except this door looked almost brand new, like someone had just replaced an old one. A gleaming smile was formed by Aqua, assuming she found what they were looking for as she tried to open this door but it would not budge in the slightest. "Darkness! The treasure has to be in this room!"

Darkness stepped into castle and not five seconds since entering the threshold did she notice how new the room looked. It almost looked brand new which the blonde found a bit odd. On the outside it looked like the castle hadn't been touched in decades if not centuries. Here, everything was all nice and clean. To anyone this would be a sign of concern but to a crusader seeking a thrill this made Darkness all the more hopeful. There was no doubt that someone does live here, someone that might capture the two trespassers. The woman was smiling brightly as Aqua would get her attention.

"Not sure the treasure would be this far in," Darkness wondered, since they hadn't even got ten feet into the castle, "But we may as well start searching this way." The blonde would push with all of her might but it wouldn't seem like the door would budge. "Somebody must have locked this door," she reasoned, "But maybe if we both push we can force it open." Though she was just hoping that if they did a certain action a trap would be sprung.

Aqua was more focused on getting the treasure than questioning how the part of the castle they are in seemed newer than the rest, almost like someone had planned on someone arriving. Seeing her companion fail at openong the door, she could only let out a sigh as she approached her friend "Come on Darkness, you mean to tell me that a door can best you?" She said with an annoyed tone, feeling like she will have to help.

"Okay but if this plan fails, I expect ypu to lead us farther into the castle, I am not leavong until we see what's behind this door." The blue-haired woman was determined that this was what they were looking for as she stood by Darkness, waiting for the signal and trying to push the door open, only for the door to continue not to move although the sound of something crashing in another room soon entered the room. "What was that?" Aqua shouted out, worroed that a trap was set off.

Darkness pushed harder and harder, barely getting the door to budge. Normally this wouldn't be a problem to her but it felt like something heavy was lodged at the other side. "Well this door is not like anything I ever faced before," she grunted, pushing with her side as she dragged her feet along the floor. It seemed like it was working as the door was slightly moving but Darkness stopped the second she heard something clatter not far from where they were.

"Not sure," she answered, standing up straight as she looked around. There were a few other doors but they were all smaller than the one she was trying to force open. True they could've tried any of those doors but Aqua wanted this one the most, probably because of how grand it looked. Either way whatever caused the noise was now a priority. "Hmm...maybe we really aren't the only ones here," the blonde pondered.
