It's late afternoon in Wyndon city where the sun is just peaking over the roof of Wyndon stadium. It's the night of one of the annual exhibitions within the Galar region that features many of the region's finest trainers. Among the group of the more well known trainers is Gloria, a former Champion that had battled much earlier in the day and was resting while wearing the standard gym uniform. She had been paitently waiting for another trainer to finish her match for they had planned a private weekend on their own for the first time in what felt like years.

Gloria sighed happily, looking up at the sky and admiring the sunset, unaware that someone in the distance was watching her carefully, noting the girl had yet to visit a Pokemon Center.

Marnie would eventually leave the entrance of the stadium, already changed back to her clothes as she descended the steps. "I am finally out," the ravenette smiled, looking towards Gloria, "You are still wearing that uniform? You finally have the weekend to ourselves, you know." While feeling tired Marnie was somewhat alert as she glanced around a bit, having a feeling that someone was watching them. She would've guessed that it was her Team Yell fans but this the presence felt more....different that normal. Still Marnie shrugged it off as she looked down towards Gloria. "Anyway, I think it's time we headed for the Pokemon Center," she told the brunette.

Gloria stood up and stretched the moment she had seen Marnie make her way down the steps. "I know but I also like taking a nice shower when I get home before changing back to my regukar clothes." Gloria reminded the black haired woman in front of her. The brunette had smiled and held her hand out to see if the other girl wanted to hold hands while walking. " I was waiting on you, we can always discuss weekend plans while waiting on our Poke on to heal." She said, completely oblivious to the feeling of being watched. "I heard there was a new Po,emon Center that had opened nearby too! With all the new trainers and all."

"Really?" Marnie asked, looking at Gloria as she held onto her hand, "Don't remember anything like that on the news. Still, a new Pokemon Center would sound very nice to be in." The ravenette shuddered at the thought of going to the usual one post-tournament. Fans were always ready to swarm her and Gloria and right now the ravenette just wanted some time to herself and Gloria with no one whatsoever disturbing them. "So where's it at?" she asked.

Gloria began leading the girl towards the area she was instructed on earlier when speaking to a fan on the outside while waiting for Marnie. "I was surprised ro find out too. I guess not a lot of people know about it but a fan was insistent on making sure I knew about it." The brunette explained, unaware of how off putting that sounded.

Meanwhile, the mysterious figure had been following close by, tapping on a devixe that appears to be sending messages to an unknown location where a woman wearing the standard Pokemon Nurse uniform was standing behind a desk with a smirk on her face. "Splendid, for a former Champion of the Galar region, this Gloria girl is not the brightest." The woman had giggled to herself, eagerly waiting for more updates as the girls walk closer towards the trap that was set

"A fan told you?" Marnie asked. For her if one fan knows about the place many others were expected to follow. "I dunno," the ravenette doubted, "I still don't like the idea of being swarmed by people." It indeed sounded offputting to Marnie but not for the reasons a logical person would expect. Still the girl did not complain as she kept on following Gloria. After all, her mind was already set on visiting this place. Come to think of it...where they were seemed a bit off as they were going to a more run-down part of the city. "Where exactly are we heading to again?" Marnie asked, "This doesn't look like a place a lot of people come and go to."

"Oh come on Marnie! I know fans aren't your favorite to deal with but I'm sure they can't be as rowdy as some of the fans at the stadium." Gloria mentioned while making another turn with her girlfriend in tow. "There it is!" She used her free hand to point towards a building that really stands out in the run-down part of town. The building having a traditional Pokemon Center sign on the front above the doorway. "This place does seem a lot smaller than I was expecting but I was told this was also reserved for only the best trainers!" The brunette reached for the door happily.

Unbeknownst to the girls, they were expected there for a long time now. The myserious figure watching them had disappeared the moment the girls made thsir way onto the same street as the building and had sent one last message "Careful, one of them is catching onto it." to the one that had hired them in the first place. The pink haired woman sighed and cleared the messages from her computer, making the final preperations for her honored guests to arrive.

Marnie would blink a bit as she was shown the direction of the new Pokemon Center. Amazingly it looked brand new and really stood out in this neighborhood. That was red flags alone for the ravenette. By now Marnie could no longer sense the weird presence watching her but didn't ease her up one bit. "You sure about this?" she asked. She didn't care if there weren't gonna even be that many fans nor would it be for the best trainers. Something about this Center felt very off to her.

Gloria had finally taken notice of Marnie's concerned look and mannerisms before opening the door. "What do you mean Marie?" The brunette had a bit of a confused look on her face. "I know this is out of the ordinary but we've also been through worse looking places than this! Besides, we're just getting our Pokemon healed, and then we can finally have our alone time." Gloria wasready to try and keep her friend calm. She was right to be worried in her mind but she also didn't want to come all this way for nothing either,

"Listen, I am used to living in a run-down town but something here is giving off bad vibes," Marnie explained, "Why would there be a brand-new Pokemon Center in a place like this?" She did like Gloria a lot but sometimes the brunette's naive nature would bug her to no end. Despite the ravenette's protests she just walked right into the center, giving the lobby a quick look around.
