In the year 1989 the doorway into the Demon world was opened setting for demons, ghosts and varying kinds of specters free upon the world. Meany years of war and bloodshed followed, however humanity discovered that to kill a demon one must have demon blood as well. scientists quickly started the " Hunter " experiments in order to infuse human's wity demon blood. after meany failures the finally succeeded. After mass produceing the Hunters humanity waged war again. By the year 2026 Earth had become a dark place ruled by demons and human's alike. Hunters became tools for those with power and the common man's needs ignored. It was in a city near the coast that a young female Hunter named Raven would start down the paty to liberate bother human's and demons alike.



Raven entered the mansion of her employer and after receiving the information on her mission she set out towards the old Shrine by Death Tree River. once there she quickly noticed and demonic presence.

Name: Isabella

Isabella is one of the newer demons to have entered the doorway to Earth from the realm of the undead. She has only been here for a few years but has already caused havoc where-ever she goes. This isn't exactly all of her fault, most people despise her and, seeing her as an abonination, would be hunters come after her. All of them have met grizzly ends, and she has no problem killing others when her life is on the line.

It was a rather gloomy day out today, dark clouds hang over the horizen, the occasional crack of thunder echoing from miles off. Isabella was sitting quietly against a large, mangled oak tree, her scythe propped up at her said. Her eyes were closed, her wings tucked at her sides, her breathing steady. Enjoying a nice nap before the weather got ugly.

Raven simply explored the Shrine. she new demons tended to nest in the dark or damp areas so inside the Shrine was the most like of places to find her target but just in case she looked around the trees and the sarounding areas. " why nest hear though? " she asked wondering if there was a motive.

Isabella's eyes snap open suddenly and her tail whips around as she grabs ahold of her scythe. Someone was coming, she could hear them, she could smell them. She quickly gets up and flaps up to one of the large branches of the oak she had been sleeping against. She stays hidden behind it as she spots a woman approaching, the woman was armed, and Isabella's grip on her scythe tightened. Just what I need, someone tromping around my terrritory. (The sentence in italics is a thought going through her mind by the way.)

" hmmmm " Raven humed gripping her sword. She was examining her suroundings with her eyes. She NEW something was close but wear? " In this mankind's darkest we strive to protect the helpess know that with our chosen blood we shall. " Raven said turning her gaze to the tree.

A snort of laughter is heard followed by some words..."You don't really believe that bullshit do you?" Isabella says as she steps out from behind the main trunk of the tree, still several yards up on a thick branch. She leans on her scythe and sighs as her eyes look the woman up and down. Another demon hunter...joy. Isabella rubs the corners of her eyes before asking her next question. "So...here to kill or capture?" The forwardness of the question pretty much made it known that Isabella knew what the woman was, and wasn't going to play games.

" my contact simply says " removal " so I'll ask just once. leave. " Raven said. Raven unlike other Hunters didn't prefer killing her targets unless needed. " so whats your answer? " Raven asked as it started raining.

" this could be very bad...." Raven said actually sounding worried as she quickly looked around. ther trees creeked and a moaning sound was heard on the wind.

Isabella leans her scythe against the trunk of the tree and crosses her
arms, looking upon the woman with a look of distaste. "Hmmph who are you to
come and throw me out of my home, its been abandoned for years and I've not
killed anyone here. So YOU leave, or you'll be the first fatality."

Isabella almost couldn't believe the nerve of the woman, or whomever wanted
her gone, she had been here first, and she'd fight for it before giving it up.

" No time to argue we need to leave NOW! " Raven said as the trees creeked louder. Something was defendantly not right. Suddenly yhere was a loud howl/moan as the trees roots started squrming. " damn damn DAMN...." Raven cursed as she slowly backed up. " I really suggest you get off that tree..." she said as the trees roots started uprooting from the ground.

Isabella quickly grabs hold of her scythe as the tree jerks suddenly, her
leathery, bat-like wings unfold from her sides and with a mighty flap she
launches herself into the air. She quickly flies up a couple stories before turning and hovering, watching with confusion as the tree's uprooted themselves. "Looks like they don't much like you here either."
