Lillian was walking home. It was Friday night and she was walking home in the middle of a storm 4 hours latter than when she was meant to be home. She has been doing this a lot lately, not coming back from school till it gets dark. This is because she has been out with her friends, most of whom are a lot older than her. A few years ago she would never dream of doing stuff like this. Until about the age of 9 she was her mommy and daddy's baby girl who they were very protective over but then at the age of 9 her father died in a car crash and Lily instead of crying in her mommy's arms like everyone thouht she was going to she shut herself off from everyone. Now she barley talks to her mother and instead of all the cute little pink dresses she use to wear she only weras black punk stuff now.

Right now she was walking home in the rain and thunder in just balck skinny jeans with skeliton hands on the ass, a black baggy hoodie and a t shirt that said bite me. She arive dhome and hoped just to sneek up to ehr room. Her long brown hair was dripping wet and her blue eye slooke dytiered.

Julia her mother was always worried about her daughter behaving this way, she was more depressed then anything of losing her baby girl then her husband. Her friends who were also mothers told her not to worie and so she didn't for a little wile but now that lilian's like this. So shut off from the world it bothered her enough to start crying and having bad dreams at night. Lilian hadn't spoken to her mother in almost a week so she was very upset when she hadn't come home for dinner. She was reading a book on child care and looking threw old albums of lilian thinking out loud as she usually dose when she is alone which is most all the time now.

Lilian sighed hard. "Where did I go wrong, perhaps it's the music she listens too? Or the clothes I buy her." Just then julia walked in the house. Julia greeted her then looked at lilians clothes. "Your all wet...I'll get a towel." She said walking off getting a towel and pj's for her 15 year old daughter.

She takes the towel but just looks at the pjs. They were a pair her mother got her last month in one of her failed atempts to get her to be her old self. Thye were just like the pjs she used to wear it was a hello kitty sleeper. She started to head up stairs when there was a bang and a flash of lightining and Lily squeeled and all the light's whent off. Lily was alwas a little scared of the dark and her mother knew it. Lily whimpered a bit and started to try and go upstais again but was scared . She whimpered and her mother heard it Her mother hasn't seened her cry in years this was the first singe of emohsn she has seen from her in a long time.

The sleeper

Lily took the towel but didn't take the sleeper. It was the hello kitty sleeper her mother got her a few months back as a failed attempted to try and get her to be her old self. She started to head back upstairs not looking her mother in the eyes. There was a bang and a flash of lightning and Lily yelped as the lights went out. Lily hasn't cried in front of her mother in years but her mother could now hear her whimpering in the dark as the lights went out because of the storm.

Julia grabbed onto Lilian "Oh lilly are you scared?" Her mother asked wile holding her and comforting her. Julia hadn't held or called her daughter Lillian her baby name 'Lily" in a decade. "Shh Shh, mama's here now, lets get you a bath okay?" The lights stayed off. "I guess we'll need some candles to huh?" Her mother asked with a giggle looking down at her scared shivering daughter. "You've always been afraid of the dark and thunderstorms, haven't you?" She giggled at her daughter and took her to the bathroom.

She tensed when her mother hugged her. She blushed bright red but didn't pull away just yet. Lily was shivering half from the cold and half from fear. She had actuly let out a little pee when the lights went off but she was too wet too notice only if you properly smelt her for it you would notice. "I I I'm fine"She said and pulled away relutantly.

Her mother pulled her right back in. "Lets get some candles together." Julia said carrying Lily like a baby in her arms again. She walked into the bathroom with her, lit a match and some scented candles in the bathroom to light up the room, also to cover up the smell of pee she felt trickle down her leg when she held lily close as she shivered.
