English Subs or English Dubs?
Which do you prefer when watching anime, english subs or english dubs?
I prefer english dubs, but I will watch an anime english subbed if an english dub does not exist.
By the way, I pretend that all Animax-Asia dubs don't exist, since they are very terrible dubs.

I prefer subs. Unless the dub is done very well and keeps true to the original, I prefer subs. Sometimes I will check what the subs say versus the dub lines if I'm watching the DVD at home.

i personally rather dubs, i just find it easier to understand since i dont have to always look away from the scene to read what was said. i will watch some subbed shows though if there is no dub, or the dub is horribly done.

it depends on the series really example Gurren Lagann the subs and dubbs are about the same on scripts
Fooly Cooly has a very good dub and sub
G Gundam I prefer dubbed just fits better
And theres others out there I just used those as examples but as said it depends on alot of things

I watch Dubs on my television and I watch sub on my computer screen. For me dub is a faster way of viewing the anime and (sorry but I'm snootie about this) if I buy a dvd I want the option of both not just sub. Although a series like Sakura Dairies a dub is not needed cause of its fimiliar atmosphere, but fist of the north star or ghost sweeper mikami they need their series dubed all the way caues of lenght (I know fist of the north star is english dubbed but only a portion was relaesed on region 1 dvd).

I like dub as reading the subs means that you could miss something as they can be hard to read.
