First, I'm sorry for being impatient. The thing is, I posted (well, updated) a story several hours ago in the communal section, and it has yet to be approved. This isn't just two or so hours, but more like almost half a day.

I know that the mods here all have stuff to do, but this is really getting to be an annoyance. it happened when I first published it, too. It was around ten at night, and I stayed up until at least two in the morning with no results. It was only after I woke up at around eight that I found it to be published.

Again, I'm sorry for my lack of patience. This is just really getting to be annoying.

We don't let just anything get posted. This is not ADISC or Deeker. Our mods here moderate here as a choice and as volunteers, who often have real lives and like to sleep between the hours of whenever they need to sleep and whenever they need to wake up for work. Please, be more patient. Your story is not going anywhere, it's already in the mailbox of a moderator who has access to that section of the site.

Well, I knew that much. I did apologize for sounding impatient, but you have to realize that I posted it at around ten in the morning yesterday, and it wasn't approved the whole day. I'm pretty sure that the fiction mods would have had at least one chance to approve it. And yes, I know real life calls, but I'm almost certain that at least one of them was online yesterday.

And again, I'm sorry for sounding the way I do. I have a habit of being overly-blunt and a bit impatient.

well im no mod but i feel this should not e poasted in 1 day after you submit also the title could be nicer the mods are busy keeping world order and liveing there own life this is something i would of poasted 2 weeks after i 1st submited with out our mods this site be ruled by jerks and this is to evry mod and adminstrater thank you for doing such a good job on my favorite site

One day is not that short. Also, did you notice that I apologized for my brash nature at least three times in this thread so far, and also that I actually acknowledged that they lead real lives at least twice?

I would have gone positively insane by two weeks. There is no way that anything should take that long, and I'm pretty sure that, though it is taking a while, this won't, either.

Also, it might do you good to get a handle on proper spelling and grammar. I could barely understand half of what you just said. Sorry if that sounds mean, but I'm a proofreader on another site, and seeing stuff like that bugs me to no end.

Okay, this is just disturbing.

I don't claim to know exactly how the approval process works, but the fact that two other stories that were posted/updated AFTER mine have now been approved is just madness. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I think that whoever is is that did that is purposefully ignoring my story after seeing this thread.

I highly doubt that. I don't believe I can approve stories, but I'll take a look and check to see what I can do. ALL of our mods are volunteers; we don't have many fiction mods because it's not a hugely popular section. If something isn't approved immediately, you're going to have to just relax.
