Seeking Advice on Site Advertisement [My Own]
Hi, everyone.
Considering this isn't DPA related, I thought I'd ask here in the General Chat, instead of power-abusing and making an announcement about it. Hurr hurr hurr.
So I made a website that's designed to be a gaming community. It features an (empty) gallery where people can post fanart, videos (including Let's Plays), and stuff. It has resources I'm hoping will build into Walkthroughs, Reviews, Advice and Tips & Tricks and the such. It also has an IRC chat (similar to this site's one, although using a different daemon and has an online client on the site that actually works).
You can sign up or login via Facebook, Twitter, Google or Steam, which is good for gaming stuff, but I'm still working on improving it.
But I gotta do the hard part first: Get members.
Now, I won't quite advertise it here for obvious reasons, unless a member specifically PMs me asking for it and SWEARS they won't link me back here >:T
But yeah. I've been brainstorming the last few days on how to advertise the site. We've come up with the idea of bursting and blurting it elsewhere on other gaming communities (which would be frowned upon), or perhaps do Let's Plays on YouTube, which is comprehensible, if I did them with Zinnia. After all, who doesn't like a shy, anxious girl playing Yandare Simulator and Undertale?
It's a bit of a dilemma, I'll say that.
