She darted down to the speakers and peaked her head behind the curtains to the grey earth pony mare that lay behind it. "Alright Octa-Butt, we're all set out here for you to plug in for the final test." She said, heading back out stage and getting the final cord ready. Octavia looked up, letting one one of her all to familiar sighs. "Octa-butt? Thats a new one Vinyl." She said in a monotone voice, looking back down to her cello. she had been adjusting the strings for a good five minutes now, making sure everything was okay. Looking back up at her marefriend. "You know Vinyl, I was fine with Octy and Tavi but im not so sure on Octa-butt." She said. "Now I suggest we get somepony to help get my cello to the stage, as you can see, this is pretty large."

Vinyl rolled her eyes as she slowly lifted the instrument with her magic, stepping quickly into the stage. "Hey I thought it was cute." She stated, plugging in the cello to the sound system. "And you tote this thing around on your back anyways." She stated, taking her own position at the turntables. "Anyways, give me a nice low tone Tavi, I'll go ahead and set the base accordingly." She said, flipping on the boards and not even noticing the spark inside the speaker,

"I still fail to see how Octa-butt is cute Vinyl, but whatever floats your boat I suppose. She replied, walking to Vinyl to the stage. "Well I could have carried it but I decided to let you after that little nickname you gave me last night, what was it again? Equestria's most monotone mare?" She asked, a small smile forming on her face. She did enjoy messing with Vinyl here and there, it was always good for a quick laugh. One her Cello was all set up, Octavia got out her bow, pausing for a brief moment before playing a few notes like Vinyl had said. She could have swore she saw something flash. Dismissing the thought, Octavia focused on her cello.

Unfortunately for both of them those few notes were all it took. Electricity arched through the turn tables, shocking everything on the platform, including one unlucky DJ. Meanwhile the electricity shot up the strings to Octavia's cello as well. Vinyl fell to the ground, convulsing as her body involuntarily let loose the floodgates.She wet herself and fell unconscious moments later, finding herself happy that the fail safe had kicked in and cut the power. Although her last thought was: D-did I hurt my Tavi?

Octavia was only able to glance over to Vinyl, keeping the hair of the bow to the strings. "How's that Vi-" Unfortunately those were the only towards Octavia had managed to say before the electric current had hit her. The Cellist had only been able to let out a whimper on pain before falling over, the electricity causing her to black out. Unfortunately not only did the electricity cause Octavia to black out but like Vinyl, it had made the Cellist wet herself. The last thoughts that had traveled through Octavia's head was one word. 'Vinyl'

Vinyl awoke a few hours later in a hospital bed, her head bolting up frin the pillow quickly as she searched the room. Her eyes quickly found her marefriend and she was instantly by her side, ignoring the slight burning she felt in her coat from the remaining static. "Octavia! Oh Celestia please wake up, I'm so sorry." She said, shaking the other mare and not even noticing the soaked diaper wrapped around her waist.

Octavia opened her eyes, letting out a groan as Vinyl started to shake her awake. "V-Vinyl" She got out, hoping her marefriend would stop shaking her this instant. "V-Vinyl Im awake." She said. Octavia finally mumbled something to herself. "VINYL!" She half yelled,getting her friend to stop shaking her. "Vinyl im awake, can you stop that now please?"

Vinyl nearly tumbled back at the loud scream that showed her partner was awake, but she was up and at her side again in an instant. "O-oh Celestia Tavi, I'm so sorry, I should have checked the equipment more before we started!" Vinyl may have been a bit of a wildcard, but she could never really hurt one she loved intentionally. "I-I can't believe that I ruined the concert like that." She said, her head bowing down and pressing against her marefriend's sheets, sweeping them back just enough to show her waist.

Octavia took a deep breath. "Vinyl please calm down okay? Im fine." She said, patting her marefriend gently on the head. "Just a small shock, nothing to bad." Octavia gave a small stretch, for the most part she was fine, other then what seemed to be a few minor electrical burns, but for the most part they were bandaged up. "It's not your fault Vinyl, I mean I did tell you to get a new speaker system before the show But I guess whats done is-" Octavia had made the bad decision to look down to her waist, seeing something white wrapped around it. "Wh-what is that?"
