Recommendation help?
Seeing as I fear posting on my facebook group thinking it'll either just get buried or the 30k+ will all just shit on me (and I am not into that) cause they can be pretty big dicks sometimes, I'm in Anime Limbo right now. I don't know what to watch in the little free time I have as I'm wrapping up Noragami.
I just finished Steins;Gate (total masterpiece by the way. May be the first anime I actually eventually rewatch.)
I like most major shonen anime (except One Piece. I can't stand it) and even though Gurren Lagann is one of my favorite anime, I'm usually not that into the mech genre
I love anything magic based (I'm thinking maybe the Irregular at Magic High School)
I did somewhat enjoy SAO
I really liked Blue Exorcist with the crossing of various religions in it
Thats really it Genre wise I think

I can name a few good ones, hopefully.
Golden Boy is a short series that I highly recommend, it's about a goofball running around doing oddjobs for people while all at the same time trying to observe and study everything in the world around him. But in the end he's just a perverted doofus who would nearly kill himself in the pursuit of some sweet sweet tail. it's hilarious and it's really worth a watch. A classic in my opinion. It's a little short, in fact you can watch the entire series in about 2 and a half hours. All of it's on YouTube so why not give it a shot?
Speaking of classics, if you haven't yet somehow watched Lupin the III you don't know what you're missing. Especially the second series.
Of course if you're wanting a more action oriented series, I would roll with either Cowboy Bebop or Black Lagoon. Or the Big O, Outlaw Star, Hokuto no Ken(hilariously cheesy but still a good watch)
Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad is an amazing anime based on the Manga by the same name, it's about a kid with a dream to play music and conquer his struggle with shyness to win the heart of his crush. It's a great show especially if you're a music nerd and if you happen to watch it and enjoy make sure you read the manga as the anime doesn't quite cover the whole story..
Durarara is pretty epic in it's own regard, the show is beautiful to watch and has an engrossing and interesting story that keeps you on the edge of your seat. There's a lot of different plots going on at first but they all end up tying together by the end of the series.
Kids on the Slope is another good one, set in the 1950's(?) it's about a rich boy from the city who moves to rural Japan and makes an unlikely connection through jazz music. Great music, great plot, great everything. My only gripe is that it's way too short.
I could keep going forever if I don't stop myself, so I hope I was of some assistance.

Give them a try then and let me know what you think. Most of them are relatively short, so it's not a huge commitment if it turns out you didn't like it. I have to reiterate that Golden Boy is easily available for free on youtube, and is amazing.
Also, Baccano! is yet ANOTHER good one: Chocolate, early 1900's America, Gangsters, and jazz music. Can't mess that up.

With what you've posted above I think you would like, D. Grayman (it's kind of like blue exorcist but a bit darker) and I would also suggest Code Geass. Other than that Seven Deadly Sins is pretty good amd Log Horizon is a good RPG Anime in the same vain of SAO but is more like a standard MMORGP and is very good. Oh and an all time classic if you haven't seen it Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood
So Recap
Anime I think you'd like based on what you've watched
-D. Gray-man
-Code Geass
-Seven Deadly Sins (if you can get past the fanservice it has a good plot and great action)
-Log Horizon
-FMA: Brotherhood
