Violet Light (Private)
If she was going to make something of herself in this world, it had to start somewhere. Even the greatest and wealthiest of ancient wyrms had to leave the nest of their parents at some point. If there was a start, there had to be an end. What comes up must come down. This was of the inviolable laws of nature even dragons respected. The problem is that the purple-scaled dragon who called herself Violet Eclipse didn't imagine it would end so soon, and like this. Lost, alone, and hungry in the woods miles away. A blizzard had come out of nowhere and left the dragon shivering with only dragon hide to keep the cold from chilling her to the bone.
Shivering, Violet kept moving anywhere where she thought there might be shelter. A recess under a rock, an alcove against a cliffside, a hollowed out log, she'd even accept the side of a large rock if it blocked off the direction of the howling winds. If her wings were good for anything except gliding, she would've flown away a long time ago, but for the time being, the curse/blessing of the Singleborn seemed to sneer at her today.
