MLP: Diamond Dog and Changeling War series rp

I want to do something rather ambitious for this rp. My premise is the following: after the invasion and subsequent occuptation of Canterlot by Chrysalis and her Changeling forces war is formerly declared in Equestria. While the Changelings are ultimately driven from Canterlor their allies are the Diamond Dogs and others join in the fighting later. In the subsequent months and years various regiments are raised by friend and foe alike. Some are part of the regular military forces, the Royal Guard, police, militia, draftees, or the commissioned volunteer force I have dubbed the Equestrian Provisional Army. This rp is meant to more grand and capture the changing technology, warfare, social pressures, and political landscapes of Equestria through the lens of an almost 1890s through to the 1920s in terms of fighting and warfare. I will not limit this rp to just one character or one person as I'd more people to engage in it if they are so inclined. In addition if they are inspired by this to make any spin off rps feel free to do so. As such get creative with your characters or any established characters from the MLP franchise. I want to see what regiments you can come up with along with their songs and flags and the like. Please reply here or PM here on this website.
