Anime that you love but no one else has ever heard of?

Everybody knows about Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood at this point, but less people know about the original Fullmetal Alchemist series, which I think would make this list by default since it's overshadowed by it's retelling.

Another good one is Summer Wars, even if it's a one-off movie. Picture Digimon meets Sword Art Online mixed with the Technovore Virus from Marvel

Well, I have one more anime I want to add. Something that popped up my memories while at work. It's a short-loved anime called Flint the Time Detective. There really weren't many characters that I can imagine padded but it was still a good anime back when I watched it as a kid.

I have watched Full Metal Alchemist before and have watched some of its episodes. I am not into this type of genre, anyone who has heard about Yamato Nadeshiko? Are you familiar with the character on my profile?

Hm maybe not entirely unknown but I feel like Haibane Renmei is a great anime, but it's had a very niche audience for a long time with only one forum really dedicated to the series. For anime movies I would say Perfect Blue is often overlooked.
