It has been a few weeks since the last Dark Spire appeared in the digital world and the digidestined finally have room to breath. With Tai and her parents going away for a week to go to one of his soccer tournaments, Kati thought it would be fun if Yolei came by for a sleepover. Even though they’re on the same team, they haven’t spent a lot of time together besides when they go to the Digital World. She hoped this would be the beginning of a brand new friendship.

As she finished giving Gatomon her dinner, Kari smiled as she heard a knock coming from the front door. “Come in!” She called, her hands full with washing plates from earlier.

Yolei entered the apartment and took her shoes off by the door and slipped on the pair of house slippers. "I'm here!" She called out with a smile on her face. She was excited for tonight since it was just them and their Digimon parters.

Poromon decided to fly around the living room and then land on the couch cushion with a laugh. "This is so comfy!" The in-training digimon said as it snuggled into the soft cushion.

“Hey Yolei! I’m in here!” Kari called from the kitchen, finishing up her last dish and drying her hands.

Gatomon heard the sound for her in-training friend and stopped what she was doing to run up and tackle her friend playfully. “Let’s play Poromon!” Gatomon laughed.

Yolei went into the kitchen to find Kari with that same smile on her face. She went up and hugged her friend from behind. "How've you been so far aside from just finishing up with dishes?" She asked. She also wondered what else was planned for the sleepover.

Poromon laughed from Gatomon's playful tackle. "Okay!" It said, trying to wrestle with the Cat digimon.

Kari jumped a little as she was hugged from behind. “Hey there! Did you put your stuff in my room yet?” She asked as she then let her turn away so she can face her. “I’ve been pretty bored until you got here honestly.”

Yolei smiled a bit and let go of Kari, stepping back a bit. "No, not yet. I think I better go do that though. Oh, I'm guessing you and Gatomon just ate. Poromon and I did too before we left so we're good." She said and went over to Kari's bedroom to set down her bag.

“Yep, we literally just finished eating.” Kari smiled as she went to show Yolei her room so she can set her bags down. “You can sleep in Tai’s bed since he’s not here.” She explained.

Yolei smiled a little more and pumped her fist. "Yes!" She muttered to herself. The girl places her bags at the corner of the bed and sat down, stretching her arms out. She then turns to Kari. "So, what are we gonna do first?" She asked.

"Hmmmm..." Kari pondered, a hand on her chin before snapping her fingers. "How about Truth or Dare?" Kari asked with a smile.

Yolei grinned at that idea and decided to sit down on the floor. "Sounds good. I'm in!" She said.
