i have had this problem for three days where I am getting badgate way messages while trying to load a rp does anyone else have this problem

I occasionally encounter this error while PMing. It just means that traffic is heavy for this site on its internet gateway server - I've seen recently that there have been and still are periodic "spikes" of users viewing the various subsections of the General area. If you wait one to two minutes after encountering the error and then refresh your browser, it usually clears up by itself. If it still is not cleared up then wait for a longer period (e.g. - Three to four minutes) and then try refreshing your browser again. For more information about "502 Bad Gateway Error", see "What causes a 502 Bad Gateway error?" in the following article -> here. Because it (Server overload) is sporadic, nothing practical AFAIK can be done on the server side to remedy it (And as a user on the client side, all you can do is wait and refresh). Hmm ... Would that involve some kind of hardware upgrade like a load balancer(?) to increase the capacity of traffic that the server could handle so as to try to avoid as much as possible, server overload? I'm just asking since I'm not a network engineer and you're the "Server Guy" here!

to be honest our software needs a complete revamp, thats where many of our issues lay at present, l cant say for certain what will change on the hardware side of things but l know the coder is working on the software, generally speaking AnimeOTK would be first seeing any upgrades as its considered the servers main site, however once things are running there software upgrades should then be coming here, the only real issue is that its a massive undertaking that needs to be done properly allowing us to deploy with as few issues as possible.
