Sonic: Camp Purgatory (With Zack)

The camp bus leading up to the campsite they were headed to was in view. It was a nice, beautiful place, with nice wooden cabins, a long stretch of woods, and even a waterfall off in the distance that made the place look great.

It had been a while since these guys had a vacation and the boys were aiming to have some fun... but it was decided that the younger ones would be at camp first. This idea didn't exactly please Tails and Charmy. They sat the whole ride over, sulking a bit.

"This isn't right. You know how mature I am." Tails said. He sat in a white t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans shorts.

"Yeah! Me too!" Charmy said, sitting in his normal pilot's shirt and white slacks.

"You're definitely not mature enough Charmy." Sonic giggled, peering over the seat. "Besides, it's fine. You guys will enjoy yourselves. And Chip can even accompany you." Sonic said, pointing to the back of the bus at Chip, who was zipping about the back of the bus snapping pictures.

"OH BOY! It's so cool! Look at all the wonderous places! I love being above ground again!" Chip cheered. It took some doing but Chip managed to finally accomplish it. He managed to find a way to materialize above ground in a way that didn't compromise himself. It was an ability he awakened after the Dark Gaia incident and hadn't been able to implement until just recently. The reunion he had with Sonic was heart-warming and spurred on this vacation idea they all had.

"But if Chip's with us, won't you miss out on quality time with him yourself?" Tails kept trying to talk Sonic out of this.

"He won't be going anywhere. It's not like you'll be there forever." Sonic said. "Besides, sometimes the big boys need time to spend with one another. Right guys?" He said, looking back at Shadow, Knuckles, Espio, and Silver.

[Zack]

-Someone remembers me because I came here.- Shadow said dryly. He wore black pants and a red shirt.

-For fun, spending time with friends, approaching the natural ... I said fun?- Silver answered with a smile, wanting to spread the good mood.

-Nothing of that.- Said Knuckles wearing green pants and yellow shirt. -Sonic provoked Shadow until I agreed to come. You practically kidnapped me.-

Silver scratched the back of his neck. Wanted to spend this camp with his friends and ... the excitement was with him.

-And I'm here because Vector forced me to take care of Charmy- Spió said that he was wearing blue pants and a black shirt. Being in the nature does not seem bad to him but this one did not approach his ninja trainings besides that Charmy already was a headache.

-Oh come on, it will be fun.- Silver tried to encourage them. -Just look at the beautiful lake we have for swimming.-

"You guys should stay with us instead of going off on your own." Tails suggested with a grin.

"Yeah. Big boy time be damned. Roughing it with us is good for your heart. Silver seems like he'd be up for anything." Charmy said.

It was Sonic's turn to pout. "Oh...? Really? I dunno."

"Why not Sonic?" Chip said. "Cabins only can fit like four people anyway. Might as well mix and match."

He said this as soon as the bus stopped.

[Zack]

-Whatever.- Shadow said indifferently before entering the cabin on the left.

-I think he'll soon accept the fun.- Silver said to keep the spirits up. Then he approached the lake enjoying the view and remembering something. -Hey Sonic do you have floats or something?- After all the blue hedgehog did not know how to swim.

Espio approached Charmy and Tails. -Remember to save everything you use to make the place as clean as it is now.- It was his responsibility to teach the little ones, even in obvious things.

-I just hope nothing happens to the mother emerald while we're here.- Knuckles expressed before entering the cabin on the right.

Both cabins were the same. 2 bunk beds, 4 coffers for your things, window overlooking the lake and half bath.

[SDCharm]

Sonic blushed and stammered a bit as he tried to answer Silver's question, having not expected to be asked that. "Oh... uh... well... I don't have any floaties but I've got a life-jacket..." he said, trailing off in embarrassment, muttering to himself. He didn't like talking about this out in public.

"Pfft. Yeah we know. Always recycle. No littering. Eat your veggies. Wear clean underwear. Blah blah blah." Charmy said with his arms crossed. "Or maybe you're just saying that stuff to us because you have trouble remembering it yourself?"

Tails chuckled a bit at that.

"I'm sure it'll be fine." Chip said, following in after Knuckles. "You should be more excited to get the chance to experience nature in a way you haven't before here."

[Zack]

-Calm down, if anything happens, we can help you.- Silver used his powers of telekinesis to form water snakes.

Espi grunts and clenches his teeth. -If you remember, Vector would not come behind you so that you only separate your teeth.-

Knuckles was packing his things in one of the cabin's coffers. -I live on an island in the sky, I'm always in touch with nature.-

Shadow had already put away his things and was lying in one of the upper bunks.

[SDCharm]

"I am calm." Sonic said. "And what are you doing?"

"Vector didn't come because he dumps meaningless things on you when he doesn't want to do them. " Charmy retorted. "You don't need to be here."

"That's why I said in a way you haven't before. This place is entirely new!" Chip said poking at Knuckles's side.

[Zack]

-I saw it a few days ago and sometimes imitate it, it's fun.- Silver moved the water snakes around surrounding Sonic.

Espio shook his head at the behavior of the bee. -If you want to go out alone you must show that you can handle whatever happens.-

Still, Nudillos hoped that everything would be all right when he returned to the island. As the guardian of the master emerald was restless. He looks out the door. -What do these camps start with?-

[SDCharm]

"HEY! Quit it Silver. This isn't funny." Sonic said, whacking at the water snakes. Not wanting anything to do with this. "We're only here to watch over the younger guys."

"I can handle you just fine. Isn't that good enough?" Charmy kept poking fun.

Chip looked around the cabin and grabbed a pamphlet. He unfolded it and looked at it. "Hmm... there's a lot of events on here. I think it might just be a regular campfire for the first night."

[Zack]

-That you do not know to swim does not mean that you can not have fun with the water.- Silver said as he returned the water to the lake. -Let's have fun while we're here.-

-We will see that already.- Espio took his things and went to the cabin with Shadow. Of all of them he was the calmest and that was something scarce in his life next to Charmy.

-Of course ... I'm going for wood.- Knuckles left the cabin heading for the forest.
