Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on DiaperedAnime:

Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

Server Reinstall Planned
This is just a notice to users to let you know that after much discussion between Ai and myself have decided to reinstall the servers operating system.

What this will entail is around 6/8hours of work by our hosts to first completely reinstall the server setting it up to our specifications and needs and also restoring the data. we will be taking our own backups however things should not change.

As of yet the reinstall hasnt been given the go ahead as we require some time to do our backups, however we will inform everyone soon so everybody knows when its due to happen.


On a side note users whochat on our IRC network and connect using IRC clients should still be able to connect when maintenance is in progressby using the following IP 67.201.44.194 instead ofirc.animeai.com or irc.animeotk.com in their cliets, same ports will apply.

50kb filesize and 120x120 pixels is more than adequate. An optimised image of those dimensions should be about 10-20kb maximum. Imagine viewing a page of 10 posts where everyone had a 500kb avatar - that would be 5mb of data just for a single page which is excessive. 500kb of avatars on a single page is pretty excessive (10 x 50kb) since they are such small images...
