MlP - Mommy Competition (Private with zero2501)

It's a rather peaceful spring day in Ponyville, despite a small disagreement brewing in the sunroom of the carousel Boutique. Seated at the table, Rarity, the owner, and one of her best friend Fluttershy are each enjoying a cup of tea, while also engaging in a conversation of a private interest they both share.

"Please Flutterhsy, I didn't mean to offend you," Rarity says, before pausing to pick up her cup and take a sip. "I just think that maybe if you had been a little more stern with Cloud Chaser she might not have lost interest and moved on. After all as I always say, when dealing with an adult foal you need to balance the pampering with discipline. Otherwise they're bound to either get bored or worse start taking advantage of you."

Both Rarity and Fluttershy were secretly Adult Foal mommies, something they kept between themselves and the few "playmates" they'd had over the years. However, they had both recently lost their latest partners, hence this get together to vent and talk about it. Unfortunately, it seems to be turning into a mutual critique session.

Fluttershy was drinking her cup of tea, as she was turned away from rarity after she said that, feeling quite betrayed, but still couldn't bring herself to be too rude to her friend, as she turns back to her quickly, now saying a little quiet to rarity "t-thanks rarity, but I think that maybe you also were asking her too much, whenever cloud was having fun with a show or toys you always where telling her it was time for something else, even if she just wanted 5 more minutes for her to finish" she says as tries to drink the tea once again, she knew cloud was really annoyed about it but fluthershy couldn't bring herself to say it to her friend, until now at least.

"I suppose I may have overstepped my bounds a little," Rarity says, glancing away. "After all she was your little, but I was simply trying to encourage you to take charge of the relationship. A proper mommy shouldn't let herself get walked over," Rarity replies, her tone taking just a slight edge of smugness. "After all just look at how I handle Thunderlane..." She starts to mention her own most recent little, but stops short as she remembers that he too had "moved on recently."

"w-well, I think maybe you also were doing that too, but to thunderlane, whenever cloud chaser and I came to visit you and thunderlane, you were always trying to know what they were doing...even when we were speaking, it feels like you wanted thunderlane to be a mammas boy or you were maybe being a helicopter parent..." fluthershy said, getting both more quiet and faster as she said that, worried how would rarity react to what she said, the way it looked liked now more like a little kid scared of how her mom would react after breaking something than anything else, as anyone watching this could easily confuse fluthershy for a little than a mommy right now

"Well...I simply wanted to keep our relationship clear," Rarity says, now a bit defensive herself. "I keep my littles in line. That's what a proper mommy should do." Rarity looks back at Fluttershy, as she pours another cup of tea. Honestly, she feels a bit of excitement seeing Fluttershy look so nervous and a part of her is tempted to just sweep her friend off her feet and take her straight to her secret nursery, but that would be improper. While she did have reservations about Fluttershy's skills as a mommy, she was a mommy and not a little. However, at that moment a new idea enters her head at how she can finally set her friend straight.

"You know Flutterhsy," Rarity says, her tone a bit more calm. "It seems we are at a bit of an impasse about all this. As such, I think it might be appropriate, not to mention fun, if we try to resolve things with a friendly competition."

"c-competition?" fluthershy said a little confused by that, as she couldn't think what rarity could do, but then she thinks of something "...you mean us trying to baby some other ponies and see who they like them more? I-Im sorry rarity, but I don't think that can work, I'm sure all other littles in ponyville know about us and the 'conflicts' we have, and trying to make them join something like that wouldn't be a good idea..." fluthershy said as she was feeling bad on telling her friend this couldn't work, so desperate she tried to think of something "...b-but maybe if we go to manehattan or canterlot it could work!" flutthershy inmeaditily 'screamed' or at least scream for her, for a pony that wasn't used to her tone of voice she would still sound quiet

"Well that's close to what I had in mind, but not quite," Rarity replies. "You see I believe the ultimate test of our skills as mommies would be to see which of us can turn someone into a little from scratch, and who better than two of our friends?" Rarity says, with a bright smile, then blushes a bit and bites her lip. "Besides that way if things go bad we can trust them to keep our secrets....So what do you think darling?"

"w-well, I guess we could do that, but who do we choose then? maybe we could ask pinkie?" fluthershy asked, she had in mind pinkie was a little, but she not really wanting to ask her as she couldn't bring herself to do it, and rarity only knew about her being a mommy while she was taking care of discord, so she never thought to ask rarity if pinkie was, thinking she was since rarity was a mommy already

(we never said around what season this was made, so if you don't want it to be fluthershy taking care of discord, it could just be something like angel accidentaly revealing her diapers and baby supplies she has saved for her littles, sorry)

"Oh Pinkie is most certainly a little," Rarity chuckles a bit. "I've diapered that girl dozens of times so she's hardly a good candidate. As for Rainbow Dash, well we wouldn't want to interfere with her Wonderbolt duties and such. So by the process of elimination I suppose that leaves Applejack and Twilight as our babies to be." Rarity stands up and walks to her gem drawer, where she pulls out a purple amethyst and yellow topaz. "And just to keep things even," she drops the two small gems into a bag. "We'll select our little ones randomly. Amethyst for Twilight and Topaz for Applejack," she sits back down and holds the bag open for Fluttershy. "So what do you say Fluttershy? Up to prove if your mommy method is better than mine?"

(alright, though, one important question, would twilight be an alicorn in this or still just an unicorn, and if she is an alicorn, would she have the castle and would starlight live with her or not? asking since at least the castle is an important question to ask)

fluthershy wasn't really sure if she really thought it was that fair to make their friends littles for just a competition, but it was just a friendly competition, there was no way rarity would add something extra on this...right "alright rarity, I accept".


fluthershy says as she then starts to try to take the gem from the bag without watching, even covering her eyes with her wings just to be sure, as she then grabs one and looks at which one it is, being no other than the amethyst "so I guess i'll take care of twilight" fluthershy said, feeling worried of what would rarity think about babying applejack
