Sun was rising over the sleepy town of Gravity Falls, Oregon. The people of that town were just now starting their day with cup of coffee and morning newspaper. And still, one person was already digging deeper in their project.
Young researcher, Stanford Pines, after morning exercises and meal, was already gone to start on his favorite thing : studying of the unusual phenomena of his city.
Doing that was his childhood dream, and now, he couldn't believe that he was living the said dream for 6 years now! Like just yesterday he had his early graduation from collage, and look at him! He's started 3rd journal of paranormal activity!
Oh, if only Stanley could see me now... the man thought, before his gaze saddened from memories of his twin. But he quickly shook them off, and yet, the hard feeling was still there.
He sighed.

Bill cypher, Transdemensional demon saw that his favorite person was asleep, Ford! He immediately popped in and sayed "heya sixer!" in his usual optimistic tone; ready to ruin his peaceful dream.
"How are ya! hows Stanley?"

A sudden voice pulled the man from his thoughts, as he looked around, noticing that the forest around him was changed by cosmic surroundings. He didn't notice falling asleep, but didn't complain.
F : Ah, hello, Bill. It's nice of you to pop in.
For last year, the creature, Bill, was somewhat of Stanford's Muse during his research. It wasn't rare for him to appear in his head and dreams, turning to be a helper and nearly a best friend for the young man.
However, like most best friends, Bill sometimes had the worst timing. Ford sighed, his smile disappeared.
F : I... I don't know. We haven't talked ever since... the incident.
He tried to remember, how long it's been... 8 years? 9? Nearly a decade... he sighed.
F : I mean... I know, I told, that I'm still mad at him for the project, but... I can't get rid of feeling, that something's wrong. Like... like if he needs me right now...

Stanford looked to Bill, before back down. Sure. He knew, what Bill was capable of, and many things, he knew about... but that? It was his own questions.
Did he want to see his brother?
Was he ready to forgive him for the past?
But most important...
F : But... I don't know, where he is... last time, we heard from him, he was running from Kentucky... and it was months ago, he can be anywhere by now!

"yep! I enter peoples heads for fun, I can find I guy who looks just like you." Bill said with absolute confidence; subsequently popping out of fords head to find his lost twin.

Stanford opened his eyes nearly right away after Bill left.
Even after year of being with him, Ford still wasn't sure if he was a real being or just a product of his mind, but... if he was really ae find his brother, it'd give him much more reason to trust him.
The thought of finally knowing what happened to his brother filled his mind.
I hope, he's okay... maybe... he finally put aside that running? Maybe finally settled? Got a wife and, maybe, a child..?, the man thought to himself, before, instead of theories of his brother's present life, memories of their childhood together flooded over him.
Broken Glass Beach, The "Stan O' War", their plans to go sailing... a smile of those sweet, innocent years came onto his face.
I wonder, how he is right now...

A few minutes later bill just popped into existence shouting "GRAVITY FALLS" later explaining that he moved there after they after getting released from prison!
(this is mostly factual, could remember where he went after hiding in rico)
