Charlie Morningstar leaned over the crib, biting down her lips as her cheeks only got redder and redder. She was practically vibrating with how excited she seemed!

"Well... I don't really know how to put this, but, uhhh..." Charlie waved out at the window in the gigantic red nursery to the pentagram floating in the sky, "Welcome to hell, lil one!"

"..."

Charlie realized what she'd said almost immediately.

"Okay, I know that sounds bad," She said, "But it's not as bad as it seems!"

Charlie leans over to pinch his cheeks.

"I don't think someone so gosh-darn cute is capable of being evil!" Charlie said, "Buuuut... your parents might be a different story, and... my dad got a hold of your soul, so you were kinda doomed to come down here..."

Charlie took a deep breath.

"But, you don't have to worry!" Charlie said, "Because he gave you to me! And I'm going to make sure you're safe as you can be down here, no matter what!"

Charlie giggled a bit at his question.

"Why, you're my new baby boy!" Charlie exclaimed, "A luxury that's the closest thing you can get to heavenly down here! I'd say it's even better, buuuuut I am a little biased~"

"Well, that's a yes and a no little fella," Charlie giggled, picking him up by putting her hands underneath his armpits and pulling him into a soft but firm hug, "Yes, you are eighteen, but no, I'm not going to let you do anything down here but be perfectly pure and innocent and... gosh..."

Charlie bit her lip and shook for a moment before calling out.

"FREAKING ADORABLE!!!"

"Nuh-uh!" Charlie replies, hugging him even tighter before walking over to a nearby changing table, "I'm not going to let you loose in this big, scary world. You're here to be loved and nurtured and cared for! The last thing you want is to be let go, you're just too naive to get that yet."

The irony of Charlie calling someone else Naive wasn't lost on her. She was just too lost in the mommy headspace to care.
