Throughout the world of Pokemon, one organization was known universally for its dastardly deeds. One operation infamously known for its blatant criminal empire, untouchable to many authorities. A criminal hivemind of poachers, thieves and the lowest scum of earth. These conniving crooks called themselves Team Rocket.

Their goals were obvious, as many grunts of the organization were not keen on keeping their intentions hidden. Plans of world domination and the poaching and subsequent enslavement of powerful Pokemon were at the top of Team Rocket’s lengthy bucket list. Although there are brave and talented trainers who have stood up to the egregious actions of this criminal empire, none have been truly successful.

Spies were placed in every town to monitor for possible usurpers and law enforcement agencies were almost always bought off to protect Team Rocket’s interests. They were everywhere and there was nothing anyone could do to stop them.

This sentiment just so happened to be in someone’s mind. A woman, laying prone atop a grassy hillside. Held to her eyes were a pair of binoculars, her line of sight trained on an exquisite mansion. The mansion itself was a stunning log residence, approximately three stories high. But this feat of architecture was something that this grunt cared nothing about. Towards the back of the mansion was an expansive garden, complete with a miniature forest and a sizable pond. Within this garden lay powerful and rare species of Pokemon. Nidokings and Nidoqueens slept peacefully under variants of berry trees, which had been scattered in a color-coded fashion. Milotics and Lapras’ could be seen swimming and splashing each other playfully. Kangaskhans laid with their young, nestled against carefully sheared hedges and shrubs that dotted the garden.

Setting the binoculars away from her eyes, the woman stood up slowly. Her kelp-green eyes and naturally vibrant, violet hair sparkled and shone in the pale moonlight. This woman was none other than Jessie, a hotheaded veteran of Team Rocket. Usually, she worked with her accomplices, James and a talking Meowth. However, their boss, Giovanni, instructed Jessie to undertake a mission alone.

The objective? Steal a ultra-rare pokemon, hidden within a Kantonian Mansion. Sounds easy, Right?

Matt was in his nice home watching the news in the living room. He stood at 6'1, 250lbs, with short blonde hair, green eyes, and wore a simple black shirt and blue jeans. He was fortunate to carry on the legacy of his father and grandfather running a facility that catered to rare pokemon, and he ran a sanctuary for trainers struggling with such rare pokemon as well. So he was very defensive of his property and those he looked after. He also had a secret kinky interest that he was hoping to share with someone someday, but lately he hadn't much luck and often found himself working the sanctuary like it was a farm.

He suddenly heard his doorbell ring and he got up to answer the door and as he opened it, he saw a lovely young lady wearing a tan uniform shirt and pants with a hat that read 'Lawn Lovers', and from what he heard, it sounded like the person wanted to treat the lawn in his backyard, even though he didn't see any equipment with her at the moment. "Um, I suppose I can show you the sanctuary and get a quote?" he suggests while he stood there at the door, seemingly willing to let her in.

As the door opened, Jessie’s body shivered as she saw the imposing stature of Matt. His height was certainly intimidating for the short statured woman, but it was too late to back out of the mission now. She was already neck-deep. As Matt seemed to have bought Jessie’s elaborate excuse, the pink-haired woman’s lips stretched to form a slightly devilish grin. This imbecile was fooled by her detailed disguise, which consisted of brown khakis, with a work belt wrapped around her waistline and a green, short sleeved button-up, with a sun shining upon a lawn insignia patched onto the left side of her chest.

Her hair was done up in a bun and Jessie hid her vibrant emerald eyes behind a set of black tinted glasses. Though she had no idea where this surprise came from. After all, Team Rocket was known for their convincing disguises and complex trickery. “Why, thank you~!” Jessie exclaimed in a cheerful tone, stepping into the grandiose mansion.

The mansion seemed to be just as Jessie expected. An antiquated manor with old-fashioned, wooden furnishings. Passing the unaware adult, Jessie was captivated by the entrance hall. As with any mansion, the grand staircase was the centerpiece. A sweeping staircase made of darkened, polished mahogany that was adorned with intricately carved newel posts.

The flooring seemed to be made of a polished oak, patterned with inlays of darker wood to form an intricate design. A large, white crystalline chandelier hung from the ceiling, illuminating the hall with a warm glow of shimmering light. The walls were a dark wood paneling, which seemed to be a cherry, complete with decorative moldings.

Such opulence was indicative that this gentlemen possessed an exorbitant amount of wealth! This possibly meant that they had the means to possess rare and unique species of Pokemon that could aid Team Rocket in their conquest for world domination. Jessie could not contain her excitement, as she realized she had been assigned the mission of a lifetime. ‘This jackpot may end up promoting me, should I succeed…’ Jessie thought to herself with a wicked smile.

“This is an absolutely stunning home.” Jessie complimented, hoping to butter Matt up. “But, I had hoped that you would lead me to the garden?” Jessie inquired. Seeing as she had no idea where the garden entrance was, she would need the aid of this gullible gentleman to lead her to his treasured trove of Pokemon.

"Of course" he mumbles as he let her in, shut the door, then made his way across the entry way and headed towards the sanctuary/garden. There was a set of glass double doors that seemed pretty obvious to lead to the outside compared to other doors inside of the home.

"Thank you" he says then chuckles, "and please, be patient. I was leading you there this entire time" he points out, which struck as a small red flag against the 'lawn care business woman'. He opened the doors and showed the vast acrage with a giant fountain and some lovely bushes and flower beds at the area closest to the home.

"I know it's a large area, what do you think it would cost to maintain?" he asks.

As Matt proceeded to lead Jessie to the backyard, she mentally cursed herself, as the doors were only a few feet away. Then again, Jessie was still in shock from the sheer luxuriousness of the mansion, so her inability to locate the doors to the back garden was not entirely her fault. At least, that is what she told herself in an attempt to discourage feelings of embarrassment.

As Matt opened the doors to the vast acreage, Jessie was once again overcome with awe as she was exposed to Matt’s impressive garden. The first thing that Jessie noticed was the cobblestone paths that wound through the gardens, bordered by neatly trimmed hedges. No doubt these paths led to different sections of the garden.

Meticulous arrangements of seasonal flowers were in full bloom, from tulips, lilies, dragonsnaps, peonies and petunias. The beds of which were organized into naturalistic, flowing designs. Large willows, cherry blossoms, and oaks were spread throughout the park, offering shade from the scorching heat and habitation for many tree-dwelling species of Pokemon. Smaller trees were also spread out, such as dogwoods and maples. The lawn was carefully manicured, appearing as a velvety, healthy green carpet used for both relaxation and recreation.

There was certainly more to the garden, perhaps bushels of rare berries and medicinal herbs, or ponds teeming with superb, aquatic Pokemon. The calls of several pokemon broke Jessie out of her amazed stupor, reminding her of her purpose. She was not here to lolly-gag at the ornate beauty of this mansion, but here to trifle through its pockets of opulent treasures.

“Well, I would think that such a garden would cost an exorbitant amount to maintain, judging from your magnificent home.” Jessie complimented. Hearing the melodic calls from the garden once more, Jessie decided to ask some questions pertaining to her mission. “I hear you have some Pokemon residing here. What variety of species reside here?” Jessie inquired.

"With the right pokemon it's honestly not that difficult to maintain the grounds. I just wanted to be polite to see what you were going to offer. But it seems you're more interested in just gazing about my property" he says with a bit of a sigh.

"Regardless, my pokemon are not your concern young lady. But I do have many and I'd caution you to tread lightly. Unless I am around, they can get very protective and defensive of their home" he states. At this point he crossed his arms slowly and wanted to see if the woman would advertise for her job's sake or not.
