He still uses outdated trainer terminology. It's almost a coping mechanism, a way to escape his new reality.

"I see, well I am sorry mon ange," She coos as she starts to rock with him in her lap. "It is just we were advised that it would be better to simply, throw you in the deep end, as they say. Also I confess we did get...a little excited at finally having the baby we'd dreamed of for so long." Madeline smiles again and pecks his cheek. If she notices his trainer language she doesn't give off any sign.

"And I'm not mad at you," Blair clarifies, "You seem very nice, both of you, and I know how attached psychic-types can get..."

Blair sighs as he presses his body into Madeline's chest as she rocks him. He hates to admit it, but... this is rather soothing.

"I wanted to say that I'm perfectly fine playing along," Blair says, "But... I want you to promise me that you'll understand if I get flustered sometimes by all of this, and that part of caring about me includes caring for my feelings. I think we should both get what we want, as long as we're together."

"Oui that is fair," Madeline nods as she continues to rock him. "Mommy promises to be more considerate of your feelings going forward, mon ange," she coos kissing his forehead. "That being said, mommy would also like you to understand that you may have changed more than you realize. After all," she reaches down to pat his diaper. "Your previous caretakers told us of your very wet nights." As with most humans following the "SHIFT" Blaire's control hadn't been what it used to be. The pokemon at the adoption center told Madeline and Sofia that he hadn't woken up dry once since he'd been taken in. The only reason they hadn't put him in diapers yet was because they knew he would be adopted so soon and as such they wanted to save that pleasure and responsibility for his new parents.

“And I’m not asking you to stop,” Blair rushes to clarify, attempting to ensure he comes off as reasonable, “Just… to undersubscribed that I might need a moment to get used to all of this.”

Fortunately, his lapses in continence were limited to his sleep. The Pokémon revolution forced many trainers on the run into less than healthy lifestyles on the run, it was no wonder so many had gone incontinent.

"We understand and shall try," She coos, giving his diaper another pat, of course this doubles as letting her check it.

As she's doing that, the door opens and Sofia walks in.

"Hello, how is our little boy enjoying his new room," She coos, walking over and tousling his hair. "Momma designed it just like home. You know maybe you can help me convince mommy to take a trip there someday."

"Oh mon cherie, not this again," Madeline rolls her eyes. "I am not opposed to visiting your home, but we have many things to consider now, especially the baby."

"All the more reason to go now," Sofia says, plucking him from her and cuddling him close. "Just imagine our little flower in a super cute swimsuit and floaties playing in the shallows."

Madeline smirks as she realizes that Sofia is hitting her weakness....and it's starting to work.

“You don’t have to go all the way to Alola for a nice beach,” The former champion of Unova said, “We’re in Castelia, right? We’re right on the docks! Frankly, I don’t like places that get too hot and humid, I’m more of a winter person.”

Blair allows himself to be held by Sofia, wrapping himself around just to reassure her that he wasn’t going to retaliate.

“I like indoor pools, personally.”

Madeline smiles at Blaire's response, before turning to Sofia with a fairly smug look.

"Oh just listen to how smart he is," She coos. "I knew mommy's little ange would understand what I've been saying."

Sofia smirks back and turns to Blaire.

"Well I suppose that's some fair points, sweetie, but we'll see if you still feel that way when you see my favorite beaches," She coos, before raising an eyebrow. "However, you need to pay the penalty for siding against mama...which is...TICKLE ATTACK!" She shouts and her vine-like hair tendrils spring up and proceed to start tickling him all over.

Blair squirms and laughs as he’s tickled, not actually seeming to mind all that much. As a matter of fact, as his fist bangs on the ground the laughter begins to become genuine. He could get used to this kind of attention.

“Look, it’s not your fault that I don’t like getting sweaty,” Blair laughs, before turning to Madeline, “Are there any mountains in Kalos? I like hiking a bit more than swimming.”
