Except... there was her prestigious school's Student Council President, Miyuki Shirogane. Despite coming from humble origins, Kaguya had fallen hopelessly in love with him.

Kaguya's loyal maid, Ai Hayasaka, had noticed this at the very start of their so-called rivalry. Although she had remained neutral for the most part, she was confident her mistress would be much happier if she and Miyuki were finally an item.

Right now, though, she also had something else to contend with regarding her mistress.

It was a way for her to bring out her innermost desires to the surface, which would help her accelerate the status of her relationship with Miyuki. She was getting everything she needed set up in a previously empty room. Once it was ready, she made her way over to Kaguya's bedroom.

"What is it?" Kaguya asked her.

"Oh, I am just bringing you some tea, my lady," Ai claimed, placing a hot mug on her bedside table.

"Thank you very much," she said, proceeding to sip it.

Ai then stood by her mistress' side, waiting for her to finish the tea. She resisted the desire to smirk, as she expected Kaguya would start to feel very sleepy.

Indeed, she soon began to fade out quite visibly.
