It was evening at the Azur Lane headquarters. After a battle with a small Siren force a few days before, the shipgirls were taking time to relax and recover. One of these Kansen was the Eagle Union Destroyer, USS Laffey, a Benson-class destroyer. She wore her usual outfit of a blue tanktop with a white stripe vertical down the middle, a pink jacket, a short red skirt with a white line near the bottom, white thigh-length socks, and a red hairband with bunny ears on it.

Recently she had been having a certain issue as a result of her laziness, constant naps, and addiction to soda. She'd begun having daytime and nighttime accidents. So, her older sister USS Benson had come up with a solution. That solution was diapers, which were pretty visible right now as she laid on her bed. Her diapers were white with red tapes. She had to admit, they were really comfortable.

"Come on, Ayanami! We can't have Laffey waiting for us~" An enthusiastic, purple haired girl exclaimed, directed towards the girl, currently sitting in front of a console, hands on the controller.
"...This stage will be over soon..." The girl referred to as Ayanami replied nonchalantly.
Javelin sighs, "Look-"
"My stuff is already ready, don't need to rush... and there, I'm finished. Lets go." She set down the controller, and began to pick up a small bag, filled with various supplies for the sleepover that the girls have organized. They promptly set out towards the bunny-eared girl's room.

Outside the room, Z23 had been waiting for her fellow destroyers. The four of them were a somewhat odd friend group but they got along well. "Finally ready?" Z23 asked as she saw Javelin and Ayanami leave the room. She had her own bag on her shoulder.

"Yep!" Javelin said. It's been quite a while since they've had a sleepover like this, so she was immensely excited for it. While Ayanami didn't seem to match the same enthusiasm, you could bet that she wanted to join in. "Yes, I'm ready..."

"Great, then let's go. We'll be lucky if Laffey is awake when we get there," Z23 said, knowing how Laffey was. It was rarer to find Laffey awake than when she was asleep. She had that in common with Shinano.

"Ahaha... Hopefully she'll be able to answer the door when we get there." Javelin laughed. It really seemed strange, with how narcoleptic Laffey was. Perhaps it's from all the Oxy-cola she drinks. Whatever it is, the band of friends have already gotten used to dealing with it.

"Hopefully," Z23 agreed. It didn't take too long to get to the Eagle Union dorms, and then to Laffey's door. Z23 was the one to knock. "Laffey! We're here for the sleepover!" she called.

There were some noises from behind the door. The bed creaking, footsteps across the floor, and finally the sleepy destroyer herself opening the door. She was mid-yawn when she did. "Oh, hey," she said sleepily. The padding she now wore was partially hidden from view by her skirt right now, but was still visible if someone looked.

"Wow, you're actually awake! Hopefully we didn't disturb your sleep or anything~" She waved as the group made their way into the room.
"...Where do I put my stuff..." Ayanami quietly asked, before quickly dumping her pack near a corner and rummaging through it, pulling out her portable game console - which was met with a reaction of sorts, of course.
"Already!? Come on, everybody, lets do something fun together! What do you guys think we should do? It's not everyday we do a sleepover like this" Javelin exclaimed.

"I was already awake," Laffey responded, letting the three into her room. It was a good sized room. She went back to her bed and sat down.

"Well, we could watch movies. That's always a good time. Or we could play games, whether it be card, board, or video," Z23 replied, setting her pack down too.

"I'd advocate for the video games... maybe a fighting game of sorts?" Ayanami, unsurprisingly, offered. Javelin had opted for the other option, however. "A Movie sounds pretty good! What kind of movies does everyone like to watch?"
