Star vs the Forces of potty-training (Private RP with Yingyangjesse)

Jackie Lin Thomas skateboards around the Echo Creek Academy trying to relax during her gap period. While as usual the skater girl was the picture of chill and laid back on the outside, the truth was that at the moment, she was kind of stressed. Well less stressed and more just bored. Her mom and dad were out on business this weekend, again, and while Jackie usually enjoyed the freedom it could also get lonely sometimes.

As she's turning a corner the PA comes on.

"Jackie Lin Thomas to the principal's office," The Voice comes through. "Jackie Lin Thomas to the principal's office."

"Huh, what's that about?" Jackie thinks to herself, stopping, jumping and catching her board. "Well it's something." She shrugs and walks back inside, heading for the office.

(Cut to Star and her parents waiting for her )

Jackie arrives at the office and walks in.

"Yo Principal Skeeves, what's...up?" Jackie pauses as she sees two adults by the principal's desk and a blonde girl who looked like she was Jackie's age. All three of them were dressed in a way that reminded Jackie of one of those Renaissance fairs that came through every so often, also it seemed like the blonde girl was playing with the light switch. "Uh...hi?" Jackie says with a slight wave.

"Ah yes Jackie, come in," The Principal says, as he holds what looks like a chest. "I'd like you to meet our new foreign exchange student, Star Butterfly and her parents," He says gesturing to the strangely dressed people."

"Oh exchange student cool," Jackie says perking up a bit. "So where you guys from?"

"We're from Mewni dear," the woman says stepping forward. "Your Principal says you would be a good guide for our daughter. He says you know your way around the school and the city."

"Huh?" Jackie tilts her head, but soon perks up again. "Oh yeah sure, I know echo creek like the back of my hand. Skated every inch of pavement. I'd be happy to show your girl around." Jackie smiles and nods. Being a tour guide wasn't exactly what she had in mind for her weekend, but it was at least something.

"Oh thanks," Jackie says, smirking at the other girl's enthusiasm. "So you just want me to show her around?"

"Well we were also hoping you would allow her to stay with you," Star's mother adds. "Rest assured we're prepared to compensate you for any expenses."

"Wow really, cool," Jackie smiles, warming up to this even more. Least she would have someone to hang out with over the weekend. "Yeah I can do that. My parents are always cool with me having friends over long as it's just other girls."

"Oh nice to see you're as responsible as described," The woman says with a nod, handing Jackie sack that jingles. "This should do for the first week or so, we'll make a better payment plan once everything is settle. Oh and one more thing," She reaches into her pocket and hands Jackie what looks like a hand mirror. "I'll be expecting daily updates on my daughter's behavior. I hope you can make sure she doesn't get into any trouble." She pauses to give Star a glance. "And I do hope you won't cause any trouble for Miss Thomas, Star."

"Very good," the woman nods, and goes for a quick hug with her daughter. "Your father and I will contact you once you get settled. Behave yourself dear," she says before turning back to Jackie. "And Miss Thomas we will contact you later as well." She says gesturing to the mirror she gave Jackie.

"Uh okay," Jackie says with a shrug, not really undestanding what a hand mirror had to do with contacting Star's parents. After they leave, Jackie shrugs. They seemed all right if a little strict, but anyway she had other things to do. "Well anyway, c'mon Star," She says holding her hand out to her. "I'll give you a quick once around the school then we can head back to my place." She says, taking her hand and walking for the door.

"Hm?" Jackie turns her head as they round the corner of the hallway away from the office. "Oh well I don't really know. I mean I did see this one magic show a couple years back that was kinda cool. Sometimes I read mystic fighter comics, but other than that I don't really think about it." Jackie replies, clearly not realizing what Star had meant.
